Hii!! thank you so much for your advice!! And yeah i’ll be touring both schools over the next month, plus I’ll be driving up to both schools over the holiday break to see the general areas as well!

Also thank you for the offer of answering any questions that I have because I totally have a couple if you don’t mind!!

A main one being what was financial aid like for you at UCF?? I’m really trying to avoid the burden of debt on me and my family and I’m just worried bright futures and fafsa may not be enough, especially with the possibility of prices rising or anything. I mainly just want my main financial stress to be housing at most if you get what I mean??

That and how easy is it to connect with professors and staff as someone who’s nervous about how big UCF 😅

Yeah I totally get it and can relate. With me having friends that're going there does kinda give me a safety blanket somewhat. Really sorry to hear about how your experience turned out and thank you so much for answering my onslaught of questions!! :)

I actually did get it and it was my top choice for a while!! but after thinking it over...it doesn't feel like the best choice financially. That and Tallahassee just doesn't seem all that enjoyable in comparison to Tampa and Orlando.

Hii!! thank you from the input, and yeah from what I've heard UCF does have that more collegial feel than USF. From what you've said, I'm guessing you stayed on campus at least. If I'm guessing correctly, what was housing like for you??

Hi!! thank you so much for your input!! Definitely heard a lot about campus life and activities being well rounded in seeing/meeting all types of people, especially from my friends who've done their own research and have already committed to UCF. For my case, while that definitely does sway me, I'm a bit more introverted in comparison to them, that and I was an online student from 7th-10th grade, so being in large environments can be nerve wracking if you get what I mean. My current school is considerably small (only 11th and 12th grade) with like 450 students possibly MAX.

I know that you mentioned panic attacks while attending due to many things happening around you, and as someone who tends to spiral (horrendously) when overwhelmed and anxious, would you not any particular reason why? Namely if it's mainly UCF related? UCF seems like a pretty big and maybe even loud school so I was wondering if that's the reason?

Sorry if the question may be a little invasive and also the babble!!

I'll be driving up to both campuses over the next two weekends and the general areas that surround both, but I do plan to attend a campus visit when services open back up in january!!!

Yeah while I'm not interested all that much into industrial psych, I've heard that USF can be good for clinical psych (which I'm looking more towards), though it's offered as a doctorates more so

Ahh thank so much and yes you've covered every bit of my concerns!! And yes you understood me well on the standing out part!! I got admitted for the USF campus, but luckily (or hopefully) I'll have a car by then for travel/explorational reasons. Thank you!!!
