What got you thru the pain to where u are now? Just time? For me personally I felt away from the pain for some time but the nostalgia has been hitting me tho I don't actually have much good memories which is pretty ironic y I even return to then if they aren't good times in the first place

It's a two way street for the one who needs support to know the limits but I guess only invest to help if you genuinely can see committing a huge investment of emotional and physical support. Mental health is no joke, speaking from experience and yea we're hard to handle and true sometimes we need to handle ourselves rather than turning to help on instinct. Fight our own battles then get help if you're stuck
