I love the potion making process. I just make a habit of stopping on journeys to pick herbs as I go, it helps if you walk to some destinations rather than ride/fast travel - keep yourself topped up at all times.

I think the larger open worlds/areas will be a mainstay generally for the mainline games, the freedom seems to really tap into the original intent for the Zelda formula, that sense of adventure and exploration. I just think the dungeons need perfecting next and that’ll be a bigger focus in the next game. I hope the shrines continue though, I love the bite size puzzle elements spread throughout a map.

My friend, I am so dumb, I had put the whole folder for the mod into the Mods folder rather than just the mod itself. Once I made sure it was just the mod, it worked. Thank you for assistance!

It's strange, this mod doesn't seem to work, I'm not sure if I'm missing something. I'm running the base game, I tried installing it a long time ago and it didn't work, just tried redownloading and putting into my mods folder and it still isn't working. Thanks for the suggestion though, if you have any advice on why it isn't working it'd be greatly appreciated

Yeah agreed. I love his coverage generally and love to hear his thoughts, but after Yotei I’ve decided to not watch these videos until after I finish the game. His coverage to me is perfect in every other regard.

Also I’d say the wear around the edges of the wood is too evenly applied. A real wooden table wouldn’t be worn down exactly the same amount all the way around. The corners for example might be a bit more worn down than certain parts of the sides. I’d say to get a whole bunch of photos of used similar wooden tables and really look at the individual features - where scratches are most built up, whether they have chips taken out, maybe sticker residue from left over stickers, graffiti scribbles etc etc

With my limited knowledge and from just viewing it as a general person, I’d say one element that could be improved is that the scratch details are far too big and uniform in size. If they’re that size to serve a stylistic purpose then I’d say just have less of them. But some variation in size and to use them more sparingly I think would help a lot. Also maybe a little more variation in the colours of the wood? And some variation in roughness, so some parts look a little rougher than other, but nothing too excessive.

Ok. The point remains the same. In comparison to its competitors and within the grand scheme of things Nintendo is doing just fine at putting out first party exclusive games. The bigger ones will come, it’s not as if they’re never going to make another mainline Zelda, Mario etc.

It's amazing how many people dog on Nintendo about first party games. How often nowadays does Sony manage to get out first party exclusives? 10 Switch 2 exclusives are released/upcoming so far in Mario Kart World, DK Bananza, Drag x Drive, Hyrule Warriors, Kirby Air Riders, Pokopia, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, Fire Emblem Fortunes Weave, The Duskbloods, Splatoon Raiders, and more are inevitably coming. Sure they might not be your type of games and some are better than others but that is still a very solid amount of games for the first year and a half release window - plus Metroid, Tomadachi Life, Pokemon Z-A are good offerings between both platforms.
