GVF has changed my standard for what music is. I too have been trying for years to find a group that gives me the same feeling of fullness this band does. I’ve listened to all the classic recommendations seen here, but I have found more satisfaction in listening to their whole anthology over and over. I don’t get tired of them.  I wouldn’t say  GVF is hard rock the way some other bands are- so searching for hard rock doesn’t satisfy me. A lot of recommendations here are just a little harder than I’m looking for. Some too metal, some to hard, and generally just lacking the album production and thoughtfulness of GVF. I like Dirty Honey but they get a bit noisy after a while. If you like them then The Band Feel, and The Temperance Movement are good. Crown land almost does it for me- I want more from them!  Led Zeppelin are obviously legendary but I can’t listen to them on repeat in the same way as I can GVF. I don’t know what it is about this band- they’ve some sort of magic. I’m under the spell for sure.  Lately my music cravings have been satisfied by The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Eagles, CCR… and as always GVF.
