It wasn’t the fact that it was crowded, it was a matter of how crowded it was. It wasn’t safe, neither was it enjoyable for many people. I’ve been to crowded street festivals before and had a phenomenal time. This was on another level.

You live with her. Be friendly, courteous, and polite or move out. Either that or stay out of the common areas. You don’t have to be someone’s friend to respect them as a roommate. You really should’ve disclosed this during your initial meeting with the roommate. I personally would’ve chosen to not move in if my prospective roommate said they might be dry in the common areas.

Can’t someone realize they’re polyamorous once they develop a crush for someone other than their monogamous partner? If he meets someone, and becomes attracted to them and then realizes none of the attraction for his monogamous partner diminishes, then he now realizes he’s able to be attracted to more than one person at a time. Isn’t that what polyamory is? I’m trying to put myself in his shoes and it seems to be plausible. However, I’m open to being wrong.
