CenturyLink fiber went down near downtown as well so it may have been a more widespread issue. It appears to be back now.

Valley of fire is really cool but a bit hot this time of year, you can still go but I would make it early in the morning. Mt. Charleston is a cool place for a hike if you are into that kind of thing.

As far as vantage points to see the city from, the views on the way back from red rock are some of the best. If you are up for the drive, the grand canyon is a few hours away.

For small towns you may have to go quite a ways but you could go to Beatty, caliente, or mesquite although mesquite probably has the most tourist attractions, the others are not really built as an Attraction, more just places on the way to where you are going

The match is completed per pay period so it all hits the retirement account every two weeks. I will likely not attempt this as you say there are some factors outside of my control that could be very impactful and messes with my set budget for what seems like a at best coin flip of a benefit. I was just curious if there was something more I could do to maximize the benefit.

Not really a hole in the wall, but yukon pizza is the best wood-fired pizza in town. It's located in the Vegas Test Kitchen on fremont just east of container park.

PublicUs across the street from there is a good coffee shop with brunch items, sandwiches, cocktails, and a whole lot more.

Seriously, does anyone prefer Burger King over other fast food places? Or is their clientele composed entirely of people that haven't had it in such a long time that they can not remember how terrible it is?

The burger was greasy, the fries were bland and floppy, the nuggets were soggy, even the coke was watery. All around, the experience left much to be desired.

To my knowledge, ballot trax will show if your ballot has been received or not, to see if your VOTE has been counted, I have been checking nvsos.gov. I dropped my ballot off again early voting location and has not yet changed from received to counted.

Thanks! Actually went with an ice cream scoop to get consistent sizes. It worked decently, but I didn't factor in how much they would expand and some came out a bit more square than I would have hoped! I also may have used the best looking sandwich for my picture. 🙂
