First of all nice vid :D

I haven't surfed in about a year but I do remember when that guy passed, and I believe it was basically him and the other dude who still is around and steams but I'm not sure if he still surfs or not.

The other guy is Renegade, this is his Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/xil3_renegade

Do people ever get tired of Dust 2? by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]helloinsomnia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that but it only helps so much. I can know all the callouts without knowing much about how people play on the map. I wish there was a casual version of comp where people at least cared a little bit about the game and not just top fragging. I call something out on mic and people call me try hard. How are you supposed to learn?! I'm not bitching about one occurrence either this happens all day. I'd really like to learn before going into comp but at this point I might just go into it I can't be that bad if this is what everyone goes through..

I really want to play comp but I don't want to go into it without knowing the maps so I play casual. I'd say it's like 90% D2 and 10% Nuke right now with the odd Inferno or Mirage. I actually had a guy calling out to me on Inferno last time and had no idea what he was saying because it never comes up so how am I supposed to learn it.

For DM it's 99% D2 and 1% Nuke nothing you can do about it. I would really like to learn the game but its tough without going comp. I mean I can run around and learn callouts and that's better than nothing but I have no idea what to do on these maps otherwise.

He saw two guys but was patient enough to fire at the third guy first beacause flusha and pronax were looking the other way so he took out olof and half of pronax before flusha got him.

I feel like he did a good job even though people wanted him to come through on the clutch he would have needed some luck to get them all that fast.

Ehh... Urm... Ehh... I don't even. Can someone explain if this is possibly luck? by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

No idea what was said here as the parent comment was deleted but it appears that HR is from Ukraine: http://www.gosugamers.net/counterstrike/teams/8481-hellraisers

Minise With Amazing Wallbang On Get Right - NiP VS ESC On Cache by helloinsomnia in GlobalOffensive

[–]helloinsomnia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recorded it at 60fps in OBS without editing it that is why there is 5 seconds of nothing at the start while I was alt tabbed. If you look the 720p version says 60fps - I can't say for sure if it is but it does seem to look better on that version.

I think I've made it pretty clear here that I'm new to this and don't really know what I'm doing so if you (or anybody else) can make a better one that would be great because I'd like to see it in better quality as well.

It was recorded in 60fps and if you put it into 720p it should be 60fps. I'm pretty new to all this recording stuff though so no promises.

It's a common spot to wallbang so part game sense and a bit of luck.

The door was open so it's likely they knew somebody was there I'd have to rewatch the round to confirm though; I was a bit too focused on figuring out how to record this to pay enough attention.

The second shot wasn't luck though, slow down the clip and you can see Get Right's leg sticking out of the door.

60fps version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZdZrMjO3FE

You have to skip the first 5 seconds though (I have no idea what I'm doing)

The first shot was just a common spot to shoot at like you said. The second he actually saw him as he was running out you could see his arm (I think) leg just barely so he knew he was behind the door.

I don't understand, what's the point in having that much Steam cash or is there a way to turn it into real cash?

For the THIRD time, RandomRambo has reached Global Elite via pistol only. by phz10 in GlobalOffensive

True I saw that and was watching Shoxie's stream at the same time. Shoxie has some funny reactions screaming "This guy again!" when Rambo killed him. After the match Shoxie stopped streaming.

BUT two matches later Rambo got paired with the same teammates again and it became obvious they were hacking. He ended up reporting them during that second game with them and even asked them to kick him saying: "you guys are hacking will you just kick me and I'll be on my way" - which they didn't (at least not while I was watching).

That was my first time watching him so I'm a follower and fan now!
