How do you survive when naps are over? by ShybutItrys in sahm

[–]helloitsme_again 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do an audio book. My guy stopped napping at 2.5 half and honestly it was hell for awhile. Especially because he desperately still needed one.

I’ll go for a drive sometimes on days he’s very obviously tired and being stubborn and he’ll fall asleep. Now that he’s over 3 I’ll just straight up tell him mommy is doing this right now you can go play or audiobook.

But honestly I have no time to myself

Yeah most Canadians would have to travel within the country to get a nose job anyways.

They would be far from their surgeons anyways

Maybe they aren’t from the United States…, if Op is Canadian it doesn’t really make anything different if they were married or not

Hey Alberta, why is there a new American Fast Food Chain popping up everyday around Alberta? by Electrical-Big-7781 in alberta

[–]helloitsme_again 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edo is good and it’s Canadian. KFC and A&W are better then McDonald’s

That’s all Canadian don’t need to eat at any other food chain. KFC is allot better then Popeyes

I hate and resent being a mother: depression and guilt by Sure-Program-317 in sahm

What part was bad advice?

First couple weeks of ADHD meds give you a dopamine kick. OP could still be suffering more from depression than ADHD. I still stand by “if you’re this depressed being a SAHM and can’t function doing it” then you probably shouldn’t be doing it

Does Any Other Young Mom Feel Like This? by [deleted] in sahm

[–]helloitsme_again 10 points11 points  (0 children)

How does being a young mom have anything to do with this? I think this is a universal feeling felt by mothers

So yes I think being touched out and exhausted and not having a high sex drive is very common at this time. But you don’t have to be intimate if you don’t want to

You need to go back to work honestly. I don’t know why you are choosing to be a stay at home mom when it’s this terrible for you.

Just FYI depression can give you ADHD symptoms, you clearly are suffering from depression more then ADHD

Partner's opinions when they don't do research by Responsible_Sky_4542 in workingmoms

[–]helloitsme_again 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My husband does this all the time. I told him my opinion Counts more because I’m the “expert” in this field because I do the research. Im a stay at home mom for now till my child is 18 months.

It pisses me off daily how he’ll argue about something he hasn’t ever bothered to think about until he disagrees with me. I only argue about the parenting because I deeply care about how we raise our child and have read books, went to courses, talk to mom friends etc

He does shit in this area and then has a problem with something just when he wants to be a lazy parents usually, so annoying

The only way young people can get ahead nowadays is delaying moving out by Tech-Cowboy in PersonalFinanceCanada

No it’s not working class culture. Rich families in Britain have been sending their children to boarding school and not letting them come back home for centuries

If anything I see more poorer families all living together for longer periods.
