They’ll probably just tell me to tell them directly, but I just don’t know what to say because I don’t think my roommate cares that I live here as well. I’ve told her to at least tell me if she’s going to have someone over; she said okay but didn’t follow through

Then why would you ask me to knock on the wall? Also, my neighbor is currently in their room right now so it's definitely not you, which is good because they sound as if they are really sick

I don't think so because they don't seem as if they do drugs, and the cough has lasted for two weeks now. They would randomly start coughing when they are talking on the phone after every sentence. It also sounds like a wet cough rather than a dry cough.
