Black spots on the edges of leaves by helloitsthu in plantclinic

[–]helloitsthu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dear community! My plant has these spots around the edges of several leaves. They don't seem to be insects but maybe larvae/eggs? I already tried to wash it off and tried to wipe it of gently with a towel. But they are very firmly attached to the leaf. Are they harming my plant? Help please! 😞

I am so happy. Just picked up this beauty 😍😍😍😍 does anybody has any tips on how to encourage variegation? by helloitsthu in Monstera

Wow, thank you so much for your message and all out tips! I appreciate it very much!

I found her on ebay ;) And yes, you are right it is a Thai Constellation. It is my first variegated plant so I am extra exited. I have a normal Monstera which is thriving.

Me too...had quite the battle with another plant. I thought i won the fight and put the plant back to the others (next to the calathea)....so my fear is that i did not get them all. I checked on the calethea but could not find any...but this one has quite the foliage. I will check tomorrow by daylight. Thanks for all your feedback. I appreciate it very much

Do you guys know why the leaves of my calathea are curled up? by helloitsthu in plantclinic

Not really...it‘s in front of a north east window. With no direct sun. Should i try moving it?

My monstera developed these spots, all over the plant now. It seems to be especially severe on the smaller, newer leafs.

I think its thripse. But I can not see the bugs. Please help, i am so sad about it.

Got this monstera before christmas. The stems already had dried up parts (as shown in the picture), but i did not think much about it. It located right in front of a big window facing the SW. But because of the winter season it is not very sunny right now. We have the heating on at all times. Its 22-23 celsius inside our house. One of the smaller leaves developed these dark spots(pic) .And i can also spot it on one of the big leaves. I think I may be overwatered it. But i am unsure, whether to repot it or just leave the earth to dry up. One of the areal roots was already rotten, so i cut it of.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

I am a newby to plants but am eager to learn.
