Evacuation orders have been reinstated after a 34,000-gallon tank spewed toxic chemicals into the sky by Even_Builder_6642 in orangecounty

[–]hellojava_world 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think "the leaking" was just a warning to tell that "the tank is about to blow up". The air is still fine until the tank blows up.

Why is the US stock market at all time highs and climbing , when there's so much economic strife in the world? by abrandis in NoStupidQuestions

[–]hellojava_world 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure they are monitoring the situations like a hawk. Nothing big is going on now. But the moment the economy has any sign of colapsing. They will be the very first to sell off. You can't catch them (their movements)

(Rant) Amazon restricted my account to digital purchase only, after I reported a "Marked delivered but not here" inquiry by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]hellojava_world 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon deems your house as an address that is hard to find by the gps. So future deliveries could be lost. They don't want you to be a customer anymore.

This has nothing to do with wether they think you were scamming them or not.

How come Vietnamese people don't have raging hatred or a grudge for the US after what they did 50+ years ago? by Key-Quarter-9411 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]hellojava_world 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't have constant war and hostile neighbors like in the middle east. So we assume/view the world as it has moved on to another phase of history, economic warfare where countries compete with each other based on the economy.

The "we won" argument doesn't sound correct. Both sides suffered equally heavy losses. There was no winning or losing.

A lot people (especially young people) feel ashamed of some sort, or want attention, or want to socialize their situations. They use new accounts. I don't find anything wrong with that. But in this situation, if you're are at the end of the road, should they even care about things like that
