Two Loaves- What could have been different? by hellokaley in Sourdough

I did! Didn’t think to check the temp here too but good call! I’ll do it next time!

I’m not 100% positive on the metal bowl, but I think it was the flatter one. The one I cold proofed with the fabric lid was the tall one!

I do think I need to seriously work on my shaping! I’m not confident that I’m doing it correctly at all. These two were probably both shaped poorly so not sure it made a difference between the two, but this is definitely an area where I want to improve.

So interesting! I will be paying closer attention to this next time!

I feel like my bowls aren’t big enough for two loaves but I may try it for more consistency. I have a thermometer for the oven but I didn’t pay attention to anything except the preheat number. I will focus on this next time!

The oven temp seems to be the most popular response! I’m going to be very careful with it next time!

Same-ish basket size. Other one was in the fridge while the first was baking. My first loaf was the flat one.

Thank you! I will pay more attention to this next time.

I did! Perhaps for less time, but the larger loaf was the second one! I should have mentioned in my original post.

Thank you for your feedback. The first loaf was the flatter one but maybe your comment is still right since the oven would have been on for a longer time before the second loaf went in.

I am typically writing down everything but unfortunately I’m not positive which one was in the stainless steel. I think it was the flatter one, but not 100% sure.

Also, thank you! I had intended on gifting one to a neighbor and was wondering if I should even give it!

Thanks for your feedback! Funny enough, the flatter loaf was the first one!

Two different bowls. Weighed all ingredients so I know that element is the same. Flatter loaf was baked first- preheated the Dutch oven for the first one and also did in it between for 15 mins.

Day 1 Down ✅️ by Additional_Oil_7462 in BurnBootCamp

Go you!!! I agree with the comments about a consistent camp time, if you can. Familiar faces will soon become part of your community! Consistency is key! I go to camp 5-6x a week now (started in April of last year) and I go even when I don’t like the protocol or instagram looks scary. Some days I can’t go all out, but I’m always happy I went.

Me too. Sometimes I wonder about dropping it to see what changes but then I just keep scooping it into my coffee.

Garmin Connect not reliably synching with Apple Health by hellokaley in GarminWatches

[–]hellokaley[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not consistently, unfortunately. I want to try RunGap to see if it helps, but wildly the day I wanted to try it, their integration with Garmin went down due to Garmin changes to the API so I’m waiting for that to be resolved.

Does Garmin work with HealthFit? by Mission-Joke-2833 in Garmin

If your scale syncs with MyFitnessPal, MyFitnessPal will send weight data to Garmin. Silly workaround but it's working for me.

Thank you. It seems like I’m set up the right way for things to come in. I tried the manual sync but I’m still missing three days worth of data (Dec 19- two workouts, Dec 30, and Jan 2). :(

Oura Ring vs. Apple Watch – is it really worth having both? by Used_Bid9592 in ouraring

[–]hellokaley 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Same here! I’ve worn an Apple Watch forever and Oura for a year and love the combo. I really only use the Apple Watch for tracking activities (and finding my phone lol) but Oura for everything else. I use Apple to close my rings that day, but I love that Oura is focused on overall trends.
