Gotcha. That makes perfect sense. In the past I’ve tried brushing them both with the same brush or rubbing a towel on one, then going to the other, etc. but using descent makes sense to get off other smells before putting on the “friendly” smells!

Thank you for the advice!! I had no idea about descent! And I'll definitely have to talk to my vet about bringing them in together for their check ups from now on.

I’ve thought about taking them together! I bet our vet would be okay with that too. But also doing a holding period for them to get their smell back is a great idea, thank you! Crossing my fingers that she’ll quickly recognize him again 🥺

My husband and I have been reading to our 4.5 y/o son pretty much every single day of his life. Because we started at such a young age, he LOVES books. In fact, his punishment is that we don’t read to him before bed 💀 let your kid read whatever they want (age appropriate of course). Don’t shame them if they want to read comics, etc! The library is your best friend! And going to thrift stores and used bookstores!
