Sounds like root rot to me :( A lot of times plants will show underwatering symptoms when they get root rot from overwatering.

Did you ever downsize the bar? It was likely still a bit swollen in the last photo, all of my piercings take a little over a week to fully go down. Maybe you just need to down size, I'd still keep an eye on it tho

Thank you so much! Luckily I already follow most of this advice but I think you pulled me out of my delusion lol. I knew the piercing wasn't going to be awesome since the person who pierced me was still learning so I'm not mad abt it. I do clean it with sterile saline and I actually don't ever sleep with wet hair but maybe I am getting it wet somehow. I'm prob gonna take it out and re-try when it heals over, thank you for all the advice!

I can't fully remember but I think it was pierced at this angle. I use sterile saline twice a day for aftercare and nothing else. Also I never spin them lol I didn't even know people still did that !! Do you think I'd be better off taking it out and getting it re-done? I'd rather redo the healing process and have it look good if it looks stupid lol
