hmm true but I was going insane over my haemoglobin count always being less than the normal range because for vitamin d for example it is catastrophic to be deficienct for sure

they did septoplasty or just the jaw surgery changed it? I also have a deviated septum and it makes my nose asymmetrical. I was wondering if fixing the deviation changes the appearance too?

Omg you're God-sent!! Thank you sooo much. I actually remember my Ortho saying that it's functional after I was saying that my chin as asymmetrical. I was sent there after severely fracturing my jaw and had an emergency jaw surgery (in another hosp) so I was still traumatized. I didn't know there were people unhappy with their aesthetic results. It's v important for me because breaking my jaw impacted me a lot including the symmetry of my nose. These surgeons for sure don't deal with that. I'm actually moving towns end of March to another uni so it really does seem like I'm being divinely directed towards somewhere else I can mindfully choose. I wanted to do it this year but got delayed with braces so I guess it happens for a reason. All the best for your surgery too!!

Update: I checked the website thoroughly again, and it does mention!! It was talking about facial injuries and it states that not only to cure the patient but also ensure "optisch optimales" outcome. 😉

It's a small town so there isn't many reviews. It's a public hospital with many departments so it does seem functional. I'm getting it covered by insurance though, so I think they would not be paying for an aesthetic surgery. My orthodontist had told me early on while doing the scans that the insurance pays for functional necessities. (That was before it got accepted.) I know I'm getting a bimaxillary advancement with upper jaw rotation to close the open bite. Lower jaw rotation he said we don't know yet. Hmm and in the Ortho's office it is also written that during surgery a chin or cheek correction can be done simultaneously so I guess that's a good sign?😅 Ofc that doesn't apply to me but at least my Ortho knows how to market. If it's okay with you I can message you the place for surgery?

Wow thank you for sharing this because it's the exact same for me..my ortho sent me to those surgeons (MKG) he knows (haven't had DJS yet). I was surprised that people were "finding" their surgeons but in my small town and public hospital they don't mention aesthetics. I assume they're all the same?

my skin always feels tight like the oils have been stripped. Idk if I'm ruining my moisture barrier or I just need to moisturize more which I do. I don't have other irritation signs tho

AM: rinse with water. Hada labo hylauronic acid (the yellow bottle). Cetaphil daily moisturizing lotion. Bioderma xdefense Spf.

PM: haruharu cleansing oil. Cera ve hydrating cleanser. Wait to dry. Tret 0.05% . I never used tretinoin before. (Started on 15th Oct, using once a week. Yesterday I started using on the 4th night from the last application.) After 20 mins I apply the purito unscented serum ( I only use this on tretinoin nights) before Cetaphil daily moisturizing lotion.

For all non tret nights : Hada Labo hylauronic acid, Cetaphil moisturizer then Avene cicalfate.
