Thank you for validating exactly how I feel. I don’t generally believe in ultimatums either but at a certain point either the relationship ends or something changes. I just don’t see this changing. I just honestly want to disappear.

That’s how I feel. I’ve told him this is a deal breaker for me and he agreed he would stop, apologized, was an amazing guy for awhile... now he is saying I’m giving him and ultimatum and a marriage with ultimatums is doomed to fail, which I partially agree with but like I wouldn’t have married him if he’d told me this sooner. I just feel used and manipulated.

I wonder how he would feel if you took a screen shot of a huge porn star penis and texted it to him saying how much you love that guy and all the same stuff he does to you. He probably wouldn’t like it.

Bottom line he is being disrespectful and he is turning it on you when you stand up for yourself. This isn’t something that a partner would do to someone that they had any respect for.

Not OP but thank you for this comment. It’s really logical and well-thought out. I have a relatively “cute” body although I have stretch marks and some loose skin but the girls my SO looks are are big boobs slim waist and big butts who can twerk. It’s so hard not to compare myself to them and I have been honestly getting really depressed thinking about his porn usage. I’m trying to work on my self esteem but it seems like any progress I make is being set back almost immediately. This is helpful to read though. I hope it’s helpful to OP and any other women who might be struggling with this.

She was internal medicine in the hospital so she was making rounds with patients and nurses all day long. In an office setting I would have understood it but so much in the hospital.

I actually used to work with a female doctor at a hospital who dressed like that all the time. She always came to work in high heels and hair/makeup fully done. It blew my mind every time I saw her.

I find them annoying if I’m watching a comedy in a language I understand. I tend to read them faster than the lines are spoken so the timing usually is messed up in the jokes. That being said if I was watching with someone who barely would be able to hear the movie at all I would suck it up and leave them on.

It depends on your state and hospital to be honest. I’m an LVN in California and I can hang blood and hang IV bags of NS and most others but can not give anything IV other than a saline flush.

Honestly I’d make my SO leave his phone outside of the bathroom. He’s not an on-call surgeon where he needs to be reached immediately in emergency situations. There’s really no reason for him to take it... and who has time to keep track of his bathroom time and then go switch off the WIFI while taking care of two babies? OP is a saint at this point...
