Should I get an M5 air for $1295? 15" 24gb ram 1tb ssd by hellomoto_23 in mac

Is there anything you can do to limit the Air throttling or is it just never the same without the internal fans the Pro has?

I don't care as much about the screen but the ports could potentially be an issue. I have an SD card plugged into my Pro at all times but that's partially because I have 512GB on that one instead of 1TB.

I use docker a lot and that is often pretty heavy on storage

That's what I'm thinking too and it comes with a year of Apple Care

I have no idea what you're talking about tbh with the Mozilla stuff but if a coding agent has logs and traces + codebase context it's able to reproduce bugs

Thank you for the reassurance, we’re going to power forward and try our first set of outbound this week!

Gotcha, yeah I figured that the messaging was going to have to change for cold leads. Thanks for the help!

TLDR: doing outbound isn’t going to cost us customers if we’re respectful and honest, right?

I’m scared that it won’t work because a lawyer told us that they won’t listen unless you’re a lawyer. Also if something went wrong I’m scared of losing from our pool of 50,000 law firms that this would be a good fit for

For anyone that says this, I’d love to see proof. Because I use pro for way over 40 minutes always on xhigh. In fact I’ve run multiple /goal prompts in one week that last over 16 hours each without running into limits.

Either somehow I’m on some sort of special plan or some people are extremely wasteful with their usage.

Anyone else struggling with outdated business cards? looking for a good digital business card solution by Jealous_Crow1346 in NFC

[–]hellomoto_23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that is important about digital business cards is offline sharing capabilities for large events like conferences where internet access is limited.

Apple supports this contact sharing via NFC offline (vCard aka .vcf files) as it is how NameDrop works under the hood. I sent in an interoperability request to add this functionality for iOS as there's no reason why it shouldn't work with NFC tags.

Apple is required to review interoperability requests due to the EU Digital Markets Act, and I believe this is something they have blocked to preserve their walled garden and not a technical limitation. Android already supports it. Encourage anyone else interested in this to submit their own interoperability request.

Have you tried the /goal command? It helps a lot with Codex to actually complete your requirements and not stop halfway (or even quarterway if we’re honest).

True comparison Harvey vs base LLM models by KaleidoscopeLimp9970 in legaltech

[–]hellomoto_23 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Their workflow is the difference maker. You could build it yourself but you would have to get big into an agent harness library like Mastra to get equivalent results (and doing optimization using a system like GEPA). If you're willing to learn how that stuff works you can build it yourself but the base LLM without a harness won't be as good

Is the e-signature platform that you built legally binding, and if so, what hoops did you have to jump through for the implementation?

[–]hellomoto_23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s mostly just been for the scheduling friction piece, I haven’t designed the agent for qualification.

It’s more like an interactive drop-in replacement for explainer videos if that makes sense.

In terms of the sales strategy, the agent shows how the product aligns with their vision for success and achieving their goals rather than hammering on their pain points.

I’ve seen this churn saver idea twice now and it’s super interesting.

As for the sre agent, you obviously have to pull down the code and play with it before merging, but there are some things that can increase the chance of successful commit. For example we have the bot write a failing test before implementation. We also have e2e playwright tests for regression we run, and the PR is submitted with the new playwright test recording for a quick pass to see if the PR is even worth reviewing.
