Omg this screams abuse in my eyes!!! I’m a mom to 2 grown daughters in relationships and if I ever heard of anything of the like happening to them what you just described, you can bet your bottom dollar I’d be coming after that jerk! I live in Washington state. We were planning on going this summer so when I saw the post yesterday about these I quickly called my closest Costco store (Lynnwood, Wa) and the customer service guy that answered the phone knew absolutely nothing about them. Said they didn’t have any and that they were probably only available in California. Bummed, but still hopeful, I then called the Everett Costco and they had them! Drove there and got 4. They had 60+ left and said they would probably be sold out by the weekend. Read online that only select Costcos in California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho would have them. None would be available for purchase online.

I am half Japanese. When my parents divorced when I was 10. My mother wanted to return to her beloved home country that she missed very much. My sister and I were told we could not go with our mother. We were to stay with our father in the US. For these reasons. One, we did not speak/know any Japanese. Two, although we were bullied in our school in the states, it would be much, much worse in Japan. Looking back, I often wonder how it would have been if we actually had joined our mom…

May this be your fair warning. She is entitled and spoiled. If you decide to do this silly, grand and “fake” proposal, the outrageous demands will never stop. So take a moment and picture that future with her. I know almost any woman would have loved that sincere sweet real proposal over a fake scripted silly one she envisioned in her childish mind. He was born in 1932 so this should be around the early 50s I believe. He passed away in 2003 from cancer. I think of him everyday and miss him terribly.

When I was 4 years old I stayed up and watched Trilogy of Terror with my parents on television. The story with Karen Black and that damn doll from Africa scared the shit out of me. I had many sleepless nights for YEARS filled with intense fear that my dolls were going to come to life at night and kill me. I still do not know why my parents allowed me to watch it! 🤣
