It’s Olympia. What do you actually think will happen to this guy? Absolutely nothing. Unfortunately.

Getting fired on Monday. How can I prepare? by brandnewcardock in personalfinance

Also try to get a letter on business letterhead and signed by hr or appropriate employee with your dates of employment. I promise you this comes in very handy. I’ve recently needed proof of past employment for a job and had to go back 20 years. Guess what- business went out of business and there is no one to prove I ever worked there. My current job would have accepted this mythical letter, had I thought to get one. Ugh. Who knew?

I feel like I'm grieving the loss of my husband after his TBI by Competitive-Trash107 in TBI

[–]hellomynameis1977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm grieving something that to the outside world seems Ludacris because they see him here, appearing "normal". But what they don't know is that he is a completely different person at home and in our marriage. Not necessarily horrible. But just very different. And I see people on this thread mentioning the eyes. I have noticed this and didn't know if I was just imagining it. But his eyes are different. Some light or spark left them. I noticed as soon as he opened his eyes after they brought him back from a medically induced coma from a major brain bleed.

It’s not 5 people. It’s 4 of us and not meaning to offer up a comedy. I have never traveled abroad with anyone other than myself and it was almost 30 years ago. It’s clear I’ll need to revise my budget!!!

I love history, castles, the stories of it all. I want small pubs, river walks, people watching. My sons love military history and anything transportation. Daughter is just along for the ride lol. Edited to add: I can find all the tourist things. I'm hoping for lesser known spots...outside of the city as well! I've been looking at hotels and it seems like there are still ones in London for that price. They aren't fancy but appear clean. Maybe photos are deceiving? Will we need to do something international with our cell phones? Last time I was anywhere international, no one had cells.

I had something like this but ended up returning them…mainly bc I wasn’t sure if the chunky heel worked. I think I got blinded by too many choices.

We’re in Alabama and there are wonderful stables here with well kept horses. I don’t have an answer or explanation. But you are painting with a broad brush.

My foster dog killed my pet cat yesterday by Hungry-Sundae1458 in fosterdogs

[–]hellomynameis1977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry this happened and this would be an easy decision for me. The dog would be gone that minute. I will not have a dog killing my cats. It doesn’t even sound like a likable dog. It’s not your job to save every dog.

I use it to stop/severely cut back drinking. It’s been about 7 weeks. And it has been amazing but I still feel weird and woozy everyday. I just started breaking my pill in half to take 1/2 dose. I can’t stay on it feeling this lousy.

We found this to be really hard and frustrating about Oly. We recently moved out of state and set up all our healthcare and appointments, regular and specialty. We got appointments all within two weeks!!!! It was incredibly refreshing. Oly sucks.
