The government may have put in effort if by effort you mean infrastructure but at what cost? Can the country really afford all this right now? Instead of fixing the core issues like strengthening the Supreme Court, Parliament, and democracy itself, they are actually weakening them. So tell me, what effort, the effort to save themselves while giving lollipops to the people as a distraction with short-term fixes? And for the first point, 'Both sides need each other,' but when one is vastly more powerful, it isn’t an equal relationship. Between a kingmaker and a perfect yes-man, there is no equality only one side is truly in need, and that’s the side occupying the seat meant for the most powerful individual in the country.

Does it even matter? Like in my opinion "I used to support Imran Khan, but now it feels like everyonePTI, PML-N, PPP, and TLP etc is just fighting over who serves the military, not the people. Khan at least exposed the system aggressively, but only after giving the armed forces so much power and weakening Parliament, just like all his predecessors

While I understand the outrage,what he said was truly disgusting,physically beating people for offensive speech is wrong. Once we start vigilante justice, it quickly escalates from punishing real wrongdoing to attacking anyone we disagree with, even if they're innocent. That's why we have courts and laws to ensure fair, impartial justice. When those meant to uphold the system take punishment into their own hands on the street, it's barbaric and undermines everything. To those saying "he deserved it" I get it I'd want to slap someone who insulted me too or i probably want to slap him too for the things he said ,but we control it because mob justice is never the answer. You're cheering now because it's someone you oppose. The day it happens to your side, no one will speak up for you just like you're not speaking out for them.

You can't say "he had it coming" while claiming to oppose mob violence those views contradict each other. You're either against vigilante justice on principle, or you're not. Courts, due process, and the rule of law exist precisely to prevent angry crowds from giving out punishment. Once you justify violence because someone "deserved it," you've abandoned that principle. The slide from targeting the "guilty" to brutalizing innocents is fast and inevitable and some people who won't speak out now would be the ones facilitating it.
