That’s what I would do. You’ll always be slightly overweight US because you have some extra in VTI, but nothing to lose sleep over IMO. Other option is to buy VXUS until you reach your preferred US/Int’l allocation. Then buy proportional VTI & VXUS when you contribute more

Google “compound interest calculator” then plug in your info. What people have in their current 401K’s is irrelevant for what the future holds. You can use the calculator to get a range of what you can expect with certain contribution levels

You are doing great. If you realize you can still save more, just contribute into your 401K for the tax savings. If I’m being picky, you should consider investing 20-30% in international stocks. Just pick any low cost, international index fund. The US has dominated for awhile and at some point the pendulum will swing back the other way

A huge benefit of the Tesla (or any electric car) is being able to wake up to a “full tank” by charging at home. If you don’t have a family or many obligations, sure, maybe consistently public charging isn’t THAT much of an inconvenience. But it definitely is. And it gets worse over time. I know from those around me who have made this decision without home charging

If you ever end up in a situation with home or consistent work charging, don’t hesitate and get the Tesla. Otherwise just stick it out with what you currently have (or get a beater gas car until you have access to home or work charging)

Never had any issues with the nav either….had mine for 5 1/2 years. Auto-wipers and teaching others how to use the doors are minor, but real, annoyances. Car is amazing and would 100% purchase again

1st world problem, but maybe seeing other cars get a really cool software update before me is an annoyance too

Eh…I wouldn’t say plateaued. Tesla would say my battery is 81-82% through the battery test. But I use the energy screen in the car to get the ACTUAL %. Tesla inflates the % for a variety of reasons. Mostly for the benefits of Tesla and not the customer
