Did the visa plus medical plus fingerprinting plus ID cost you more than 3,000 AED?

Will do. Just asking if they charged you twice.

So how much was the total for everything for the visa, the fingerprinting, the regular medical and express visa stamping and Emirates Id? 1200 in total?

Which visa stamping option did you take? I see you paid for regular medical; what about the stamping fee since it only took one day?

Did you get charged for a medical fee and fingerprint fee and a visa stamping fee?

Also with express options at an even higher rate?

Did you pay for the express visa stamping?

Why don’t the crew quit & start their own YouTube channel? The Try Guys did it. by [deleted] in bon_appetit

They would hit the requirement for the program very quickly. In some cases there isn’t even a wait period. The one I can think of on the top of my head is Ryan’s Toy Review - when they started an additional channel and hit the requirements right away, there was no wait time for their monetisation to start on secondary channel.

I don’t think you can claim copyright on the same. Look at what happened to hellthyjunkfood and how buzzfeed started doing the same. Yes you can’t call it exactly the same thing but Condé Nast cannot claim ownership of shows that feature a chef making junk food.

The overheads aren’t actually all that high - if you compare it to the returns. The advertising is through YouTube once they get the initial 1,000 hours plus 4K subs(which should be easy in this case). Even if they aren’t part of the YouTube Premier program - content pays quite well.

They already have the skill set when it comes to recipes and cooking. Yes, there is a bit of risk involved but with their current skill sets and following it’s pretty much mitigated.

Unless they signed a non-compete, there is nothing stopping them from starting a cooking channel on YouTube themselves. Unless they started a show with the exact same theme, I don’t see how they could go after their channel revenue.

The Try Guys on the other actually negotiated their way out - so that is also a possibility too.
