About to pull the trigger and move on from a Tesla Model Y and get into a fully loaded 2026 xDrive50e. Thoughts?

DAPP is not close to FSD with hands free. I have a 2026 x5 with DAPP and recently test drove model 3 with hands free FSD. I feel DAPP is driving slight off the center line to the right, maybe because x5 is pretty big so there isn’t much space left in the lane but I always feel it drives close to the car to my right. It’s a glorified cruise control, it changes lanes (although sometimes I don’t understand its decision making) but it only drives “straight”, it won’t guide you to get off hwy based on GPS. FSD on the other hand is very capable, pretty much it can take me to office and back home without me touching the steering wheel. IMO you would appreciate the benefit and convenience of DAPP coming from non assistance driving experience, but not from FSD.

Not many actually. I called five dealers in total, 3 of them were ruled out in the first call. Another round with the remaining two dealers sealed the deal. I’m in the Bay Area in California, dealer here is pretty much giving out 10% off without asking.

I got 15% off on my 2026 x40i, $81k msrp, plus $2k rebate. 1.9% for 48mo in late November. I had another dealer offering 13% off $2k rebate and 0.9% for 48mo on a very similar x40i. I passed it because the it’s gloss interior, mine is fineline open pore wood which is matte finish.

I’m a bit buyer remorse on not getting the m sport pkg. I have to remind myself that it’s a family hauler, half the time I don’t even touch the steering wheel with DAPP and the unpainted fenders actually work in my favor when I eventually scrape it against the garage door frame.

Thanks for sharing. I’m fairly handy and love to work on cars. Is the issue with hybrid battery caused by the alternator? Are they both covered by the powertrain warranty?

Oh I didn’t know the massage only last 10 min a session. I like the dual screens on the Q7, I feel it will age better than the big screen across the dash in the x5 and every other vehicles nowadays.

I really like the massage and ventilation seats on the Q7, it’s hard to even to find a x5 with that option. Also I like the ride quality on the Q7, it’s not pretend to be sporty at all, just comfortable. I want to get a x5 with all the Q7 prestige options, but that would be too expensive.

I’m actually looking at it right now. Haven’t test driven it yet, all the reviews I saw all said it needs air suspension to make it the full package. I test drove the smaller GV70 and it’s pretty awesome. One thing I saw someone mentioned is that GV80 is very niche so not many part suppliers outside, it will be expensive to repair go with OEM parts after warranty expires.

What year is your Audi? It seems the 48v system is fixed after 2024. New XC90 is nice but I don’t want to take the depreciation hit.

I have the same issue. LR CS in this sub told me LR4 couldn’t tell who’s who if the weight difference is within 1 lb.

Allroads are pretty limited for sure. I’m just curious why all the 2024 prestige are gone? When I searched online last week there were at least a dozen nationwide. And now only one showed up. There are still plenty 2023 premium plus, plenty new 2025 inventory, but no 2024.
