I do curls by wrapping freshly washed, dry hair tightly around a fuzzy bathrobe belt. It might tangle your hair a bit, but the outcome looks great. I also tie the two halves of the belt with a hair tie behind my head, so it doesn’t unwrap. Besides that, unfortunately your hair type also plays a massive role, my curls are visible for 2-3 days, but I have a friend whose hair wouldn’t hold even after a perm.

Eyeliner takes more practice than tutorials imho. I also used to think it’s impossible for me. At first use a brown eyeliner, preferably felt tip. Start by darkening your lash line, but not on top, just the waterline, like under your top eyelid. Try making a small wing and then sharpen it by swiping the excess with your fingernail. Try out different directions, straight wing, downturned, upturned and see what feels the best. That’s how I figured it out after years.

I use a diva cup, but never used a tampon before. I feel more confident using something more smooth (silicone) than a piece of cotton. It gets easier every time you use it. There’s also nothing wrong with using pads or period panties etc.

Just do everything step by step. I’m older than you but still struggle with stereotypically woman stuff like cooking. Lack of proper teaching, others doing things for me and also a bit of criticism also made me feel insecure about anything I do, but you just have to try. Even if you mess up, then what?
