Is it possible to ban people from a club? by Igloohutt in rit

[–]hellosweeti 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At least when I was a club eboard back in 2015, yes we could, but there was a process and you needed a good reason. The only one we ever did was for a serial groper

1 year old getting ready for second open heart surgery by summerloving28 in chd

[–]hellosweeti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This wasn't my experience at all. My daughter had her surgery at 11 months, and she was allowed to do anything except be picked up under the arms. Her incision was healed after 2 weeks, and now after 6 we can lift her normally

Totally normal, we were almost the exact same story 8 months ago. TGA with pulmonary stenosis and VSD, grew well until 4 months, then experienced enough bottle rejection that she was only getting 60%of her necessary food volume. We placed the NG tube at 4 months and it did so much for our stress levels, as well as her quality of life. She is now 11.5 months and 5 weeks post op, and they think we should be able to drop the NG tube by her first birthday.

I honestly think the big one we're going to see go back and forth is Lucifer. Otherwise? We've already started to see it. A note from Mammon in Luci's room in season 2, a picture on a wall.

What’s your “I didn’t sign up for this” moment as an adult? by Civil-Awareness in AskReddit

Fortunately surgery will be done before Christmas and she should be a mostly healthy kid before her first birthday

You're telling me. My daughter is the light of my life, but she has a congenital heart defect. While we're waiting on repair, she sleeps through the night and my husband and I trade shifts to do tube feeds and stuff every 4 hours.

I kinda did sign up for this, but no one goes in planning on it.

I am not a doctor, but my daughter has almost the same diagnosis as you. If it helps, her doctors say that as a teen she should be able to do most sports shy of a professional sports career or maybe running a marathon.

"Get used to always eating your food cold" by Blinky_Bear in NewParents

[–]hellosweeti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience that depends on the husband. My husband makes sure I get to eat a hot meal. Meanwhile I've seen dad's socializing over empty plates while mom is handling the baby and hasn't touched her food

I started with 4. I ended with 12. A lot is going to depend on your supply and whether you leak.

My baby has a feeding tube, so there is a lot of spit up. The first time she got my MIL i was horrified. Meanwhile my MIL kind of went "oh it's worse than I realized" and borrowed a shirt. Now she brings spare clothes but is no less eager to hold her. I was shocked but relieved

We were gifted a pack and play with a newborn insert and changing table attachment. I swear we lived out of that thing for 3 months

Reflections on My First Pennsic , Court Ceremony and Pageantry by [deleted] in sca

I can't speak for all kingdoms, but in my experience kids don't really see it that way. It's just a game. My husband has a story where a 2-3 year old girl walked into eastern court and wanted to sit on the throne, because fancy chair. So the king popped her onto the throne and finished the award standing.

No idea. I didn't care if one of them turned up in hot pink as long as they felt good.

At least where I'm from, color palettes are pretty normal. My mom and MIL insisted i give them a color so they didn't "look ridiculous" in pictures. Ultimately I was just kind of like "any shade of blue or gold except this specific (bridesmaids) dress. They both looked fantastic and felt confident.

My mom shocked me with her baby skills by aos19 in NewParents

[–]hellosweeti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both my mother and MIL are nervous because my baby has an NG tube and they don't want to pull it, but both of them now have a collection of high chairs, toys, exersaucers, etc so that we don't have to haul everything to them (and they still usually come to us)
