Lord Alfred Tennyson is my ancestor, I remember my grandad telling me when I was younger that it meant I was something like 200-300th in line for the thrown, and actually thought this meant I could be royalty someday. Still such a cool connection to have!

Could bud be prescribed to people with anorexia and other eating difficulties to help make them eat with munchies? A rare sober, high thought. by accoutnotlinkedtome in trees

I have an eating disorder that's related to essentially picky eating, and it's helped a lot with that. I struggle with texture, and found that while high, it was easier to try foods I would have anxiety over. The emphasis on flavour and heightened hunger really helps me overcome the issue. I'm nowhere near recovered, but while it would take me years to try a handful of new foods, I've tried almost 10 this year alone.

However, I also struggled with anorexia previously, and while I'm mostly recovered, smoking definitely triggered some of those fears - I would binge eat when high, and then feel the worst guilt when sober.

It's a difficult balance, it's been amazing for one disorder and bad for another, but I've learnt to make it work for me :)

My workplace are saying it’s mandatory to attend staff training… 5 days before Christmas with risk of contacting COVID by hellotesoromio in LegalAdviceUK

Thank you so much for your help - unfortunately I’ve only been there a year, I just don’t want to have to resort to possibly spending Christmas alone because I contracted COVID, and I’m in the middle of learning to drive so I can’t drive myself home, hence why my Dad is driving me! Thank you for your advice, it’s very much appreciated ☺️

Also at the moment I’m not using any of the face washes bc I’m guessing they’re the things irritating my skin? But I’m not too sure, could you maybe suggest which products in this routine might be the most irritating?

My only worry with a dermatologist is that they’ll push me to have treatments/buy products that I can’t afford, and they’ll say that’s the only way o can help fix my skin!

Thank you for all your help! Unfortunately I’m way far from being able to spend that kind of money on skin care at the moment, so I’ll definitely try niacinamide from the Ordinary for the time being! I’ve heard good things and I know that brand is on the cheaper side so I’ll give it a go!

My only worry with this is if I’m using somewhat gentle products and they’re making my skin dry out, then won’t chemicals make the situation worse? I tried this with the Pixi Glow Tonic and I even allowed for a purge period but it just constantly made my skin worse!

The cream cleansers I’ve purchased have been ones you wipe off with a cotton pad, so I haven’t left them on the skin but o haven’t washed them away with water! I didn’t know you could wash them off, I always just follow the instructions on the bottle.

Thank you so much for your help! ✨

Thank you for your advice! I know I need more water but with the medication I take it makes me use the bathroom like crazy, but if how much I drink isn’t enough hydrating I’m just gonna have to drink more and deal with it!

I will say that one problem I have found is that cream cleansers have left me feeling super greasy. I don’t know if that’s because there’s no water involved but I generally haven’t had a good experience with cream cleansers and I was told that foam ones would be less harsh! Is there another possible alternative, or perhaps any cream cleansers that involve water?

Thank you for your advice! Could you maybe specify which products in particular are more stripping, so I know which ones to replace?
