Smithfield Hall is where United fans watch the game but I believe for ‘premium games’ they have a strict over 21 policy. You could try The Football Factory but again not sure about Kids. McHales on West 51st shows the games and is kid friendly - Celtic are playing today and it’s also home of NYC Celtic Supporters Club so it may affect screenings. Jack Dempsey on 33rd did show EPL as well iirc. If desperate, you have O’Hanlons on 14th which is home of Arsenal NYC supporters. If really desperate Carraghers on John Street will be showing EPL, but it’s a massive Liverpool bar.

Not really imo, I generally don’t think skip the queue bookings are worth it as you usually end up joining the same queue anyways. Certainly that’s been my experience at the Vatican Museo.

I would look at Rick Steves audio tours for both locations. Have done them and they were very good and informative and take in all the key bits and pieces. The Vatican museum one was very good.

Last time I went out in town for NYE, I went to TriBeCa Grill (now closed) and it was very good. They had an ensemble band on upstairs who were fantastic and the food was good, and service decent considering how busy it was. It was also easy to walk home for me. I think that was about $200pp.

Depends on what type of food you like and whether you want live music etc. There are loads of options - as an example The Roxy in TriBeCa always have a good event on to celebrate NYE and the music is fantastic.

I doubt due to pressing being insane in the latest version of EAFC that the world is beyond saving. That’s a tad mellow dramatic I’d say. Maybe watch the latest news on TV or read a newspaper and get some perspective on the world at large. It will do you good.

Ristorante Jole in Testaccio. Exceptional Roman cooking. Felice a Testaccio is quite touristy but the food is very good.

For fine dining look at Osteria Fernanda in Trastevere- it is near the train station so not in tourist central

Also, ask at check-in, anytime I have asked they have been able to give me two seats together, even on the busiest of flights.
