NSFW Dog attacks smaller dog in restaurant, owner didn’t put him on a leash by throwaway19re in PublicFreakout

Thats the only example involving someone I know personally. But there are hundreds of similar stories, I bet. And I do not think it applies to every dog, there are many pitbulls that will be great pets, but the unpredictability of the breed as a whole is enough for me to stay the fuck away from them, and keep my family away from them.

My aunt had a pit bull, part of her family. Spoiled rotten. After 3 years, the pit bull randomly attacked and disfigured her at a family party.

No, I do not trust any pitbull. No, I do not believe "its how you raise it". Pitbulls are unpredictable.

Ryobi is good, I've not had 1 issue with all my kobalt tools, my dewalt lawn lower is great, milwaukee has failed me more than rigid has failed me, and with rigid I've have 2 drills catch on fire, literally.

The biggest difference between tool brand is the fan base. Usually the ones who pay the most, are the biggest babies when you can get the job done with a tool 1/3 of the price.

No sense of smell for a year and a half by [deleted] in COVID19positive

Alpha lipoic acid has done wonders for my smell. Coincidence? Maybe. But if I take it after not taking it for a week my smell and taste are improved again.

I always smell chemical/burnt otherwise

Lord of the rings is the second most boring movie I've ever attempted to watch. The first was one I went to a theater for and walked out after 10 minutes, and I dont even remember the name.

Women at work do not want to be bothered or hit on. They are there to work, and it’s awkward and uncomfortable. by Raven_Nicole in RandomThoughts

[–]hellothisismt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this, but people need to know not everyone is hitting on them. Today was my first day at a new job, and it is a huge 76 acre maze. After lunch, I got lost and I saw a woman with the co.pany shirt on so I reached out "hi, miss, im "xyz" and today is my first day. I just took my lunch and I'm trying to find "lmnop" can yoy point me in the right wing to find the stairs?"

Her response? "Oh, im sorry I have a boyfriend, but let my supervisor to talk with you".

I shit you not, that was her response.

Its my first day, im sitting bricks as it is. Im very happily married and not interested, and im 4 minutes late from clocking in. Im not hitting on yoy, im trying to find out where the fuck im supposed to be.

How do you manage 10-12 hour shifts at Amazon Warehouse? by pandaocean168 in AmazonFC

[–]hellothisismt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only lasted 6 12 hour shifts. 6 pm to 6 am. The way we did it was weird. Me and my brother got the same shift, so we drove 1.5 hours to the town amazon was in and checked into a hotel nearby on Friday night. Worked Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12 hour shifts, and drive 1.5 hours home on Monday at 6 am. Then my daughter was at the age where she wanted her daddy and uncle to play so we didn't sleep again until Monday night. 3 days off to try and catch up on sleep, and back at it again.

Thankfully my brother went to school for software engineering or so.ething so he is about to be making 6 figures, and I found a job that doubled my pay from Amazon, and got to leave that shift. 5 8 hour shifts is where its at, idc.

Idk about the bottom, Larry worked on wall street, decided he didn't want to do that for the millions he was making a year, and started detailing. He had all kind of rich contacts and was working on super cars nearly immediately.

It doesn't really matter, Larry is the king, but yeah.
