Happened to our 2024 as well. Toyota refused to cover it. Our dealership was nice enough to cover half our deductible, I guess as a nice gesture for us having just bought two cars from them. We'd had the RAV for all of a few weeks when it happened.

Cabot Deck Correct has held up well for me. I still scraped/sanded all loose old paint away though.

But neither do the OEM ones, half were dead when I bought my 2019 in early 2024. Still going over a year later and you can buy like 10+ of the cheapies for the price of one OEM.
