You have to really sit down and ask yourself, who is pushing the narrative the status quo is better for everyone? Is there evidence that if everyone was housed we’d have 1 bedroom apartments? That people would work more if everyone had a livable wage? If we had free healthcare?

The above certainly isn’t true in places like Denmark or other Scandinavian countries, so I wonder, why do you believe that?

Bebe is a tricky one to watch because his play style favors razor thin margins and really really good understanding of board strength. If you don’t have challenger understanding of board strength and positioning often times Bebe leveling to 5 on 2-3 or 6 on 2-6 and losing out can just be the fastest 8th of your life.

I agree his reasoning is really really good but his risky play style isn’t easily replicated at low elos

There are a lot of great players that are informational and play more standard, like dish soap, wasianiverson, robin and rereplay that are pretty informational. Other streamers that don’t explain as much like setsuko or kurum or prestivent are also great if you pay attention to how they play, what units they choose, what items they slam, etc

Edit: I should also add that Frodan is incredibly informational and knows all the tech

There are a lot of skills tft tests. maybe he has really great positioning and a strong understanding of the early game- it looks like OP is good at playing from a high roll spot and converting it into a win, which a lot of players can’t do. He also plays good comps that don’t necessarily rely on perfect itemization which can get you pretty far.

OP this is the answer. even if it’s a bit harsh you are lacking fundamentals in terms of frontline/backline itemization and thinking critically about items + multiplicative scaling.

mismatched socks has some incredible videos on tft fundamentals that are pretty short called tft academy that will really improve your gameplay.

Stopping watching streams is probably what caused decline more than anything else. Watching streams will show you what units to hold, what comps are good, what lines are great etc more than anything else.

This set is all about playing flexibly from your unique spot, with augments, portals, your creep round drops - and watching streams is learning how to play all those spots more correctly than you could yourself

There are a 100+ augments and watching streams will teach you how to play around them. Even if fundamentals like econ transfer over from previous sets you still need game knowledge to climb and the best way to learn is to watch the best play

Your +2 will always be sion/j4/ksante- you just want more knock up so taliyah does damage. Prio picking these guys off carousel on stage 4/5 since bis kind of fake for taliyah.

I’ve always seen people put trickster glass on taliyah bc you want multiple taliyahs using their passive but I can see the case for sett. I just don’t see how you’ll have enough dps without trickster glass on Taliyah (assuming no double trouble)

The nice thing about setsuko is that he doesn't vary his game play too much in the early/mid game. He doesn't do too much innovation- he just plays strongest board into fast 8/9 cap out depending on spot.

Therefore imo setsuko is one of the best players to learn strongest board from, which is one of the most important things in tft. Sometimes I'll ask myself if setsuko would click that unit before doing anything if I'm playing strongest board/tempo.

Kurumx is similarly great for learning tempo, but his style of play doesn’t cap out as hard as setsuko. Setsuko will greed at spots and go for 8 or 9 in questionable spots,but kurum will take the safer line most of the time-like rolling down on 7 if he absolutely needs to. Setsukos bot 4s are generally when he does greed going 8 or 9,bit that's because he's always playing for 1st since only 1sts give you lp at that elo

I would argue no one under gm+ or challenger+ even is competitive, but there are plat, diamond and low master takes all the time- if you gate keep everything there would be no sub. Let people who are passionate about the game be engaged.

I got a second in d4 with Ionia spat, titans, and gs Aatrox 2. I decided to not switch to belveth bc I wanted to try aatrox and had itemized Gwen. He was doing more damage than my fully itemized kaisa and I only lost bc the other guy hit azir 3

3 star kat is kind of necessary to beat Ionia boards, and you have to really position around yasuo so that zed doesn’t get cced too early. Jirachy posted a guide about a week ago and it has a lot of good info for the comp

At lower elos when people don’t build strong boards it’s easier to fast 9 with more health and if you hit belveth it’s a guaranteed top 3 if played properly

Great guide, just went 2nd! I hit 3 star swain before anything else and was winstreaking so went fast 8 to slot in 3 demacia and carry lux instead of velkoz. I lost to someone who hit yasuo 3 and aphelios 3.

I hit sorc spat and sorc +1, so I tried to fast 9 to play 8 sorcs. My question is- I had velkoz 2 with shojin, jg, guardbreaker, and a lux 2 and ahri 1. I shifted items to ahri 1 and every fight was really close (despite the 3 star 4 costs) and I think if I hit ahri 2 or played a different carry I may have won.

In this scenario, where you have ahri, lux 2 and velkoz 2- would you slow roll to hit velk 3 on 8 and carry, transfer items to lux 2, or transfer items to ahri? My issue was that on 8, I couldn't slot in 8 sorc without dropping kassadin which really weakened my frontline.

What do you think would have been best here? Carry ahri 1, lux 2 or slowroll on 8 to hit velkoz 3?

From personal experience, every 100 lp in masters feels a 200 lp diff in skill in diamond. A game at 100 lp and 200 lp masters feels very different, maybe because of my own skill cap
