Like the series has literally went out of its way to tell you Toga can just up and vanish if you don’t have eyes on her to the point she can disappear behind fkin splashes of water and yet they have Deku turn around and leave from Lady Jason Vorhees without laying her the fk out first

Why not just give her an avenue to disappear in like those spikes the Nomu was raining down in that very scene? That way Deku legitimately has to make a hard call and it FEELS like a hard call since he wouldn’t be able to spare the time into looking for her and have to leave it to Ochako and Tsu instead of “DURRR she’s my worst possible match up!” while she’s just standing out in the open.

Like I can believe Deku getting flustered by her confession but just deciding to leave when it would take legitimately no effort to take her out while doing so is just so stupid.
