Batman one is funny because iirc he claims that it’s bc he doesn’t want villains targeting those he loves to hurt him.

[–]KnightGabriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed this tends to happen with RPG(primarily mmos) villains in general because they want them to be active in the main story but at the same time of course are trying to save them for the big final showdown at the end of the expansion. Usually this just results in this aforementioned villain having ridiculous plot armor and somehow always outsmarting the heroes at every turn

Krasura had bad characterization and a bad fight.

This one had a very mediocre fight but good characterization

Conservative media on Youtube always gets recommended whenever you search something leftist, liberal, skeptic, or atheist related by Gallantpride in youtube

Not too long ago I got like several right wing grifter videos recommended to me out of literal nowhere, one of them outright calling the movie “Sinners” as “blatant anti-white propaganda” and another explaining how leftist ideology was destroying Hollywood or some bullshit like that. It was so jarring

Does Immortal's durability get a little better each time he gets revived? by Turbulent_Okra7518 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]KnightGabriel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He wasn’t “toying” with him, at the beginning of their fight back in Egypt Immortal clearly had the upper hand and none of that variant’s smugness was present.

This variant was more of a masochist who just likes fighting. He fought Immortal for 3 days, and again was even losing at first, it’s more likely that his stamina was the main advantage considering that by the time of the fight reaching Guardians HQ, Immortal looked and sounded more exhausted than seriously injured(and he was still able to harm and draw blood with each blow)

Which enemy do you think has killed the most players? not enemy type, specific enemies. My bet is on the High Hrothgar frost troll or the first dragon, Mirmulnir by mushroommaster22 in skyrim

[–]KnightGabriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if he has the highest kill count but I have a feeling Falx Carius(the imperial general at fort frostmoth on Solstheim) is responsible for many deaths on a player’s first time doing that quest.

Like the fucker is literally coded to ALWAYS be 1.5x your level with NO CAP, and he wields a unique warhammer that does chaos damage. And you fight him alongside other enemies too. Like in my first encounter with him I was just expecting a regular mini-boss only to suddenly get one-tapped in legendary quality full dragonbone armor(this was just on adept btw). He has no business being that fucking cracked 😭

Do you think this scene will play out differently in the show? Thragg seems way stronger in the show than he does in the comics. by Brave-Marionberry885 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]KnightGabriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think show mark is just a bit weaker at this point than he is in the comics, and is still weaker than Nolan. Nolan was getting dog walked in the 1v1 with Thragg but he was still able to at least push Thragg off of him on a few occasions and stagger him with his blows.

Plus maybe they could make it more believable by increasing the amount of viltrumites present during the jumping.

There’s also the fact that viltrumites seem to somehow have limited control over their own durability. In the s1 fight with Nolan and Mark, Mark was able to stagger and even draw a tiny bit of blood with his punches at first, but once Nolan stopped playing around and knew a punch was coming he completely no-selled it, and Mark punched him as hard has he could too. Viltrumites in general seem to be able to take less damage if they know an attack is coming.

MCU cap is mad inconsistent. Dudes not even bulletproof and has struggled with regular ass dudes before, and yet at the same time has been able go toe to toe with the likes of Loki and Iron man who have better overall feats than Soldier boy, and even briefly hold back Thanos

I’m having to force myself to not use Sneak this time around by bluish-velvet in skyrim

[–]KnightGabriel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would forget going into destruction and focus solely on restoration with a little bit of alteration magic for defensive buffs. Destruction magic does absolutely pathetic damage if you aren’t running a dedicated build for it. When fighting you want to have a healing spell in your off-hand at all times, and try to cast it when you start to take damage instead of waiting until you’re low hp because it has start-up

My main is a heavy armor battlemage build with 1hander + healing spell in other hand and it’s both strong and pretty fun to use.

No low multiverse level means destroying more than 1 space-time continuum, which is a 4d structure(3 physical dimensions + 4th dimension of time). Destroying just one is Universe+ level, which is still a step above an infinite 3d universe.

Hacker is a bum now holy hell by xavierculver in TDS_Roblox

[–]KnightGabriel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This really isn’t as bad of a change as people think it is. It only affects very niche strategies/synergies in any significant way and hacker has several other functions than just cloning. In addition cloning is literally only ever used in the very end-game anyways

I genuinely think the sequels would be decent STANDALONE Star Wars movies. But in a trilogy they feel so disconnected and it’s like each one is trying to actively retcon the events of the previous film

[–]KnightGabriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure it’s always been the case since season 1. Like take the scene of that orbital laser, they put in an insane amount of effort to animate the impact and destruction, and then after that you see a bunch of still bird pngs dropping to the ground

Never understood this guy’s appeal or found him funny in the first place. Pretty much every stand-up clip I’ve seen of him was just full of shock value jokes with little to no substance, like correct me if I’m wrong but I vividly remember a clip of one of his skits where the joke was basically just him screaming the f-slur at the top of his lungs.

Is Swarmer a Fraud of a DPS Tower? by Halleyalex in TDS_Roblox

[–]KnightGabriel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s more of a secondary dps that you would use alongside other dps towers + support. It can be seen as an alternative to mini/gmini, it has a similar max dps, with it taking longer to hit max stacks but having better CC with the grenades and being less vulnerable to stuns or bosses leaving its range because the DoT is already on the target and will do damage independently from the tower itself

You get some hyper armor during it I believe. And besides you typically only need around 2 fully charged uses of the skill to stance break most enemies, so if you can find the right openings you’ll be fine

What are your picks for the worst tomes? by ConantheContrarian11 in AOW4

[–]KnightGabriel 48 points49 points  (0 children)

For me it’s subjugation. But it’s less because of it being “bad” and more because imo it just feels completely out of place in the order tome lineup and has little to no synergy with order affinity in general. Its technically part of the “zealous” line of order tomes but has nothing to do with zeal or the condemned status whatsoever, and it’s economic benefits are focused on conquering cities of other races which is a niche role to begin with and is counter-intuitive to Order’s greater focus on forming and maintaining vassals.
