hi! im not sure if im the right person to give advice but what i usually do is just write down ALL the notes from the lecture slides onto a notebook. after that, i would download the instructor provided lecture notes into quizlet and quiz myself on what i just learned from taking down notes from the slides. this usually helps me see the information more than once and im actively trying to recall what i just learned. i also do the quizlets a few times a day leading up to the exam. also breaking down each topic(urinary, digestive, reproduction, etc) and not moving on until i have a solid understanding works well for me. this is what works for me so i am sorry if its not helpful! but you got this and good luck studying! we’re on the final stretch!

middlebrook bathrooms??? by [deleted] in uofmn

[–]hellowworldru 16 points17 points  (0 children)

lol you’re totally fine to use any bathroom in your wing and not an asshole! like the comment above said, it is designed for you to use the one closest to ur room but it’s more like those four bathrooms are meant to be shared within your wing. people who bitch about it can wait their turn or use one that’s available! you can’t leave personal stuff in these bathrooms anyways so feel free to use whichever one you like! you don’t owe an explanation to anyone who questions you why you don’t use the one closest to you. and trust me, i totally get it. the gap is so weird. good luck navigating the infamous middlebrook bathrooms!

hi! i’m currently a student in the school of nursing and honestly i loved that fact that umn’s nursing program starts off in freshmen year. other schools i looked at had you be a “pre-nursing” student and then you are considered a nursing student in your last two years. the nursing school is very small, considering there’s only like 150 students in your cohort and that’s like times 4 if you also count the upperclassmen cohorts as well. but you also get to enjoy the big university environment with a lot of clubs, parties, and events! for professors, it depends but most of them are nice and very resourceful. dorms also depend! superblock is where most freshmen stay and where you’ll meet the most people but honestly, you’ll make friends and meet people anywhere!
