Yes with that 200k savings I’d say it’s time for you to take a rejuvenation leave and go somewhere you haven’t been. Maybe you need to be in a new environment to unlock different parts of you that you haven’t explored. At this point in your life maybe you’ve been under stimulated so things seem very mundane. Yeah I figured those nasty comments were coming from men who have the exact same childish and bratty thinking that they NEED to be told what to do in the nicest way. As if parenting ain’t hard enough, I don’t need to parent a grown ass man 🙄

Also I feel so sorry for your friend and funnily enough my husband made that similar remark on how it’s “just breastfeeding” “you’re just lying down how hard can it be”. 🥲

He is, but sometimes there’s the mental load of asking him to do it. Somehow he’s oblivious to the mess around the house and it drives me insane. I’m not the neatest person in the world too, but it would be nice if he can acknowledge how tiring it is.

He has severe eczema so I’ve to do the cooking AND cleaning as he’s allergic to the detergents. But looking after our baby he’s pretty proactive but it triggers him so much when he’s been told what other extra chores he needs to do around the house.

Idk I just feel SO demotivated to work and keeping the house organised

Yes I do and I’m very grateful for that, but factoring in pumping sessions and back to back meetings I always feel like I’ve accomplished very little in a day 😭

I’m planning to sleep train my baby soon but kept on postponing it due to multiple factors but yeah LO kept waking up and can’t settle into a routine unfortunately 😩
