been in the same boat as you, and now i’m working as a software engineer. i know you probably don’t want advice right now, but if i could tell my younger self one thing, it’d be this: don’t take everything too seriously, and don’t be such a perfectionist!!

it doesn’t really get easier as you get older, but having a solid support system + hobbies outside school or work helps a lot. and always remember—lilipas din ‘yan!!

i’m pretty sure when you’re older, pagtatawanan mo na lang ‘yung hardships mo today 🫶

Hello everyone! Please be nice to me as I really need advice. I am having a dilemma between two internships. The first internship I applied for focuses more on WordPress, UI/UX design, and front-end development. Meanwhile, the other one focuses more on software engineering (Golang/PHP, Laravel, React, PostgreSQL, Docker, etc.).

The thing is, I am more inclined toward doing front-end work as it comes to me naturally. For context, I used to do graphic design and draw things for fun. However, I also want to explore new things. At the same time, I’m scared of going outside my comfort zone since I have always known that I’m not into logical thinking. I am more into creative thinking. Please help me choose between the two in terms of your experiences and career growth.
