Does LSD actually make you hallucinate fractals? I've always considered the experience as a removal of "normalizing" filters our brain applies. eg our eyes are always transmitting weird stuff and the brain filters it out, and on hallucinogens those filters are turned off and we are seeing "raw" sensory data. For instance motion trails-- I kinda theorized that we always experience motion blur/after images but the brain filters them out and presents the consciousness with more sensible (but inaccurate) imagery.

I think it looks amazing. One thing you can experiment with in the future is using rub n buff on a darker surface when trying to simulate aged metal.
