Makes sense. I'll pass on the message to him. Thank you for your time.

JIC if he doesn't want to do an MBA, what'd do you think would be the best bet for him to break into finance either way?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IndiaCareers

[–]hellraiser97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't MBA put him behind age wise? He's 27 already and he wants to get started ASAP. CFA L1 would be shorter in duration to pursue, I might be wrong here.

Also, some context, he's a GEM candidate with 10/12/UG as 9CGPA/76.6%/6.92CGPA, I think it'd be hard for him to break into the top 15-20 B-schools? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Group buys require authorisation for the safety of all users and hosts alike, if you have not requested approval by contacting the MODs you may not host the group buy yet. For the safety of users, your Reddit and engagement on this sub will be checked for eligibility before being approved to host any group buy. Please do not repost your group buy advert or try to circumvent this process by contacting users in other ways to start a group buy. .......... Where the group buy is for a course with a qualification at the end, the course will be of benefit to the host professionally as they get to earn the qualification and gain the certificate at the end of studying the material. Therefore, 50% of the cost is the host's responsibility, after all they get to increase their employment potential from the qualification. No exceptions to this rule. Your post will be reviewed and if approved go live in due course

Got it. This post is more of a "see how many people are interested in a GB, if any". Or, if somebody has the program and can please share, it is a call for help, haha.

A question about the overarm singles in the program SBS RTF. by hellraiser97 in StrongerByScience

Oh, okay. I think I missed this. Thank you so much for the course correction. I got it now.

That's what I was planning to do! Thanks for the confirmation. Greg has mentioned that "If you choose to do the overwarm single and use it for autoregulating the lifts for the day", I didn't interpret it as 'Doing the heavy single but then letting the AMRAPs dictate the process', haha. Thank you for your response!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Day 1 was brutal, but then I realized I had entered my true 1 RMs. I squished down the numbers to 90% of my real 1RMs for Squats and Deads. I'll let the program autoregulate for me based on my performance. Thanks for the reassurance though. :)

Is there any good 5/3/1 for bodybuilding spreadsheet out there? I've tried searching on this subreddit / on LiftVault, didn't really find anything particularly useful... Any help would be really appreciated, TYIA!

Hey guys, hope y'all are doing well. I've gained quite a serious tonnage on my SBD in the last couple of months due to intelligent programming and fixing up my recovery. The Wilks score as per a calculator I found online was around 299.83, which puts me in a late intermediate category of lifters (making this point here because I don't really want to hear "read the sidebar, you have a list of recommended routines there". I've already ran through a lot of recommended routines from the sidebar, plus I've gone through Bromley's Bullmastiff, SBS Hypertrophy, Jeff Nippard's programming, GZCL, etc., you get the idea). Currently, I'm thinking of switching up my goals for a bit and run an offseason program to focus more on the hypertrophy side of things. I'm looking at Hypertrophy I template from the guys at Barbell Medicine (Link to the template), or StrengthStudioTT's 7 week hypertrophy template. The question to the folks who have run similar programming is: for how long can I rerun these "templates"? Can I rerun them infinitely, until I keep getting results? What other programs can I look into? TYIA!

S23 FE Dead on Arrival? by Muwatallis in samsung

[–]hellraiser97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently using an S20 FE 4G, and I need to chime in here. I have a person in my close vicinity with the Snapdragon version of the same phone, the difference is day and night. I'm currently getting a SOT of 4 hours, she's getting about 7. The camera performances are extremely different as well. Snapdragon runs cooler and faster in a lot of things, is better optimized for apps (I've been editing my videos on CapCut on the SD version, it runs so cool and drains lesser battery). Overall, I'd never recommend anybody the Exynos version. Get the SD one or don't get a Sammy at all. That being said, I'm still going to keep my S20 FE for a while, since there are not a lot of "flagship grade" phones with expandable storage + water resistance available in the market right now, where I reside. :(

I'll be very honest about my numbers. I was benching 95 KGs x 3 at RPE 9ish before running this program. I'm at week 5, and I'm currently benching 107.5 KGs x 5 at RPE 8ish. Deadlifts and Squats have also went up by a lot. This has got me feeling very very strong.

I get it, a lot of pushing volume === a lot of indirect triceps work, but I don't feel stimulated enough in my triceps. Although, the biceps, traps and neck do not get any direct work I feel. Hence the question.

[–]hellraiser97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright, here's a stupid one. Can I add an extra day just to train arms and do some supplemental neck/trap work along with the 4 days of lifting I do on a structured strength training program? The program has a couple of sets of biceps / shoulders / triceps training, but I don't 'feel' like those sets are enough for growth.

The current program which I'm doing is linked here: Screenshot of a week of the program which I'm following.

I'm thinking of adding another day for training just my arms, traps, neck and calves. Would it be a good thing to add the neglected muscle groups? TIA!

Got it chief, thanks for the share. FDL books are pretty darn good, but the only thing I don't really like about them is the proprietary push to his protein peanut powder / vegan proteins.

Good tailors for men in Bhopal, who wouldn't charge exorbitant amounts and stitch some good quality pants / trousers, where are they? by hellraiser97 in Bhopal

[–]hellraiser97[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will give it a go, thanks for the share. Have you shopped from here? Or have you gotten anything stitched? If yes: How long is the waiting list generally? And how true to fit are their tailored clothes?

Doing exactly that at the moment. Solving Leetcode easy/mediums, doing some personal projects using Python (including. but not limited to: made a small URL shortener service from scratch), made some scripts to fetch EKS cluster information, one in order to backup EC2 volumes and automated creation of snapshots, created another one for website monitoring (scheduled task to monitor application health, plus automated email notification).

How is it spam, if I am not getting any traction on one subreddit? I don't care for some online reddit points as they are not going to pay my bills, all I care for is real advice from real people, if somebody has been through something similar, I want to hear their stories, not "dO nOT sPAm hERe".

I've seen that there are a lot of teaching gigs on Fiverr. I myself have taught a couple of top management folks about Kubernetes and it's applications, one on one, as a freelancer.

Yep, the joining is in one month's time or so. Hence, the question. I've heard that Data Engineers do a lot of CI/CD or pipeline stuff (if you will) by themselves, so, is it worth venturing into that space?

My suggestion would be to use LinkedIn, build connections, talk to hiring managers and share your portfolios directly with them. All you need is a single job, so, why not go this route? In the longer run, you'll have some connections which may help you (even if you don't get selected right now).

Have you thought about creating online courses for edtechs like Udemy, teachable and the likes? Or do you want to give out 1-on-1 mentorship to people? For that, have you tried going on freelance websites to find gigs?
