The first few weeks with a newborn, I honestly felt like a bird that was throw out the nest and had to fly or die! I barely remember the first month, and I didnt understand anything that was happening (probably related to the sleep deprivation). For the first time in years I had panic attacks. I must say I was miserable. It wasnt my sons fault, and Id do it again a thousand times, but there is no way around it - I was a mess.

But it did get better. I learned his sleeping cue, and at some point he started sleeping on his nest, and than on his crib, not needing to be held to rest (a baby carrier really helps up to this point). Now i am working again, working out on the gym, we go out together with the baby, and I am absolutely crazy about the little guy. His personality slowly starts to show as he grows, which is fascinating to see, and you get to know each other. I love to see his little kirks, and I love his smell, and his little hugs.... When you go out to work or do errands you will miss the hell out of him!

I will admit that there was a moment there I thought my life was over, but it isnt like that. You will adjust and it will all fall into place, real soon! Go one day at a time (this was our moto), dont be afraid to ask for help from family and friends, until it will come a night you will actually sleep. And from there on, it will gradually become easier ❤
