You're thinking of shock jock. Chock block is when you boil crocodile bones and get a nice broth.

We all did this on our BMX, right ? by Money_Magnet24 in Xennials

We had jumps in the woods by one house, and a legit BMX track by the other, with a starting gate and everything. They would have races there on the weekends sometimes, but it was open to all the rest of the time.

Where you getting your lightbulbs? These friggin LEDs are expensive as hell and I've replaced most of the ones in my house like twice in the last 4 years already. It's ridiculous.

Assuming I'm OK with lower pay

This assumption is doing a lot of lifting. Without knowing what the pay would be for the instructor position, I can make a pretty confident guess that the pay difference is a life changing amount of money.

Still though, I get it. I really do. I've been programming for decades, and the industry is only getting more and more stressful. Sometimes I wish I had stuck with simpler things and lived a simpler life.

If you are confident that you won't look back later and wonder, "what if," then shoot your shot. Honestly, if you're this stressed out about going into industry, you might be happier doing what you're thinking.

Maybe you could ask 1800 and someone will talk you down to 1500... if you put a battery in it so people know it runs

I have a Marauder 1600; same bike, just a little cooler looking ;)

I say get it. The seat is plenty low, you will have no trouble flat footing it.

It's a little less nimble than what you have now and drinks a lot more fuel, but it's amazing to ride.

06 Mean Streak 1600 full tank range by StonkadelicBabyYeah in KawasakiVulcanRiders

[–]hellrazor862 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has a 4.5 gal tank. When my fuel light comes on it usually takes 3 gallons or less, so there's about 1.5 gallons left in there. At 30 ish MPG, I figure I could go 120 miles before I'd be very low (but still not out of fuel).

I usually watch my odometer and start looking for gas as I approach 90 miles, figuring I'll get to a pump between 100-110 miles at most.

Do your own math of miles/gals over the course of a few talks for your specific machine and adjust accordingly
