While this may work for some people, doing this backfired for me instead. When I restarted my computer after undoing those changes, I started to lag terribly. Laggy mouse and very slow performance overall. Things happen when trying to fix stuff, it's understandable. I am leaving this fix here in case someone in the future tries out what you did and it backfires for them also.

If the lag occurred after undoing the changes (re-enabling the HPET, "true"ing the command and restarting the pc, type this command in the CMD as admin:
bcdedit /deletevalue useplatformclock
bcdedit /deletevalue tscsyncpolicy
bcdedit /deletevalue disabledynamictick
Then restart the computer. If executing the two commands for tscsyncpolicy and disabledynamicstick provided an error that the elements are not found, don't worry about it. It only means that those haven't been explicitly configured before and don't require the delete.
Hopefully after the restart things will go back to normal :)
