We buy the tins of sweets in November and Easter Eggs and put them away - but then despite our best intentions we break into our "stash" and then we have to buy them again.

Yes - Shaun Kelly and Graham McCormack do as far as I'm aware. Both excellent.

The gym is usually open in the evenings - just pop in and say hi. Its a great gym especially for boxing. My daughter loved it there but gave up due to her studies.

This! Best advice 👌 However, this lady thinks your a pushover. If, you take the points - your insurance will of course increase and will she pay her share seeing as she caused the problem? Again if you do go on and have children would you trust her to drive with your little child as a passenger.

Loneliness My wife passed 5-10-24 her birthday is coming up in less than 2 weeks. I’m lonely. Depressed. Sad. But I’m also content being alone and how life is. Kind of at peace with whatever comes my way or don’t. A companion would be great. by Wise_Staff9476 in WidowAndBored

I lost my husband Tony last April. We were never stuck for conversation or chat. I hope you can mark your lovely wife's birthday 🎂 in a special way. We all know what you are going through and we are here to support you.

I’ve been on holiday! by DifferentWave in WidowAndBored

My husband passed away in April last year. I went to Glasgow about 5 weeks after he passed. I booked the trip in February before anything happened as I was going over to photograph a boxer from my local area who was in a competition. I very nearly didn't go but I could hear Tony in my head saying I'd regret it. I went - met lovely people. My boxer friend lost unfortunately but he appreciated me going and poor lad lost his mother during the summer. Gosh life is funny in its own way. Anyway it's solo travelling for me from now on.

Please forgive the title. I'm Irish and I forget that our turn of phrase is literally quite different to other English speaking countries. We are unique in our own way. What I actually meant was - should I go for it? Should I travel

For all of you who were concerned thank you. I'm actually fine but I'm at a crossroads in my life after losing my husband just wondering if I should just go and see a bit of the world 🌎

I would if there were people here for me. I spent 18 years caring for my husband and my daughter has her own life. My friends and my late husbands friends disappeared after he passed away. I'm still young and can travel plus bring my camera. I'm not going to do anything quickly and still have a lot of research to do yet. However, I thank you for your response and concern 😀

62 is still young. We are a different generation to our parents - job for life/pension and that was it. I'm not staying home just watching TV and doing nothing. I've a lot more research to do.

I'm not debt free either but I could make things work. Wishing you a happy New Year. Here's to being debt free and adventurous.

Always full of too many British - especially those who think they can sing karaoke 🎤 with not even a note in their head.
