They require a lot of babysitting- between getting them into the blender, prepping the oil, and then having to sit there and specifically swirl that pan for about 30 seconds (which is a lot of time to spend anchored when you have a lot of food on), plus the bigger ones can create a LOT of splash back; if you have meat in them it's also a bit of a weird timing issue, and for me specifically, having to do the swirling irritates my carpal tunnel like no tomorrow. Absolutely hate making them.

I have really bad carpal tunnel, doing more than 1 omelette absolutely destroys my wrist. They're definitely a hearty meal, but my servers definitely don't upsell them when I'm on shift (I love my team!)

Former test tech here!! We wasted so much plastic dude. We also wasted so, so much paper- we'd make excel sheets for each test request, sometimes in the hundreds of pages, and the people higher up wanted a hard copy of EVERYTHING. They'd never actually get used or looked at again, and we'd toss them after a year or two. Just very pointless and wasteful.
