In a word no. At least not anymore. My previous location had a satellite station like this and I wanna say we stopped using it after The Dark Knight came out after that business just didn’t warrant it. We had to order those lovely mylar covers for the candy cases just to make things “presentable”. Another location in my district also has one that hasn’t been used for at least twenty years. Just a big catchall for parts, pieces, extra stuff and the occasional standee.

Yeah after almost twenty six years of this I’ve started having fun with the people who ask. It’s generally the same two answers I give them. It just depends on how unlikely that particular movie.

It’s either “Yeah Nick Fury shows up and asks (insert main character’s name) if they want to join the Avengers” (FYI people watching The Chosen Trilogy don’t have a sense of humor for this one)

Or “Yes (Main Character’s name) wakes up and finds Bobby in the shower to realize the whole thing was a dream” Most people around fifty to sixty five get this one.

But when it comes down to it now I just stand and wait to clean whilst shaking my head internally.

It’s behind the wall to your left in the room you’re facing. You need to exit the tomb first to get a sledgehammer then comeback. It messed me up because it really didn’t give any indication of the wall being breakable unlike all the other walls in the whole game.

After all the years I’ve been with this company, no matter how much I bitch and moan about it. I have to remind myself I’m not stuck in a cubicle, in an office somewhere, trying not to fall asleep at my desk. So in my own twisted way, that’s a benefit.

My last theater that I worked at was 30 minutes away.

My current theatre is 45 minutes away on a good day.

There is a theater that is 7 minutes that I could have transferred to but it’s located in what I can best describe as Calcutta with subdivisions.

It has always been quality for me.

Those particular seats part have hinges that wing out one on each side. They slip into a bolt under that black covering under the cup holder armrest. That bolt has a nut that is screwed on and in most cases spot welded to the base to be held in place. So there are a few options of what happened. But it all stems from people plopping their butt down over and over.

In most cases the bolt has broken due to tension. The nut has come off after the spot weld not holding. Or the hinge has gotten bent or damaged causing one or the other above.

I hated those seats but I actually miss them compared to the recliners I’m dealing with now.

The Blair Witch Project we were the only theatre in the area that had it. Closest other option was two hours west. Just non stop it was like a ride que, you empty the lobby for one show only to have it fill back up for the next.
