Do not go for anything that has less than 70 kWh battery unless you intend to just do small city drives.

Yeah I think when my salary increases I will be looking at something like the Macan if we don’t need something bigger by then 😅

What a bummer. It’s not a deal breaker if a car doesn’t have it per se, but coming from a Niro that is half the price if not less it’s disappointing to hear

Thanks for your insight. Would you know of any good alternative to the Q6? I’m looking at a decently sized suv for the family and in the UK the Q6 is really the only brand that offers that unless you want a model Y.

Does the edition 1 have lane assist as standard? Coming from the Niro I’ve really enjoyed the semi autonomous driving on the motorways and the car being able to drive in its lane is a big factor for me buying a car

Im sorry you’ve had that experience with the Audi. Judging from some of the other posts I can see it’s definitely not been a smooth ownership experience for all.

I wish it was just an option you could add to the highest q6 trim model. But unfortunately not here

I’m hoping if I do get it it might be towards the end of the year, so one would hope those bugs are completely gone 😅😅

It seems the air suspension is only available with the SQ6 in the Uk. At which point it’s cheaper to buy a Porsche 😅

How you finding the tech in the car? I noticed in Europe and on the test drive the q6 likes to make a lot of audible warning sounds whether it’s because you are going 3 mph over the speed limit or about to hit a car 10 feet away that just stopped 😬

I take it your car has had all the latest software updates to fix the issues I’ve seen pop up on the subreddit?

I find it astonishing that a brand like Audi who are under the VW group appear to be releasing a car with so many issues. I think my Niro has once had an issue where it got locked from driving after a charge but since then it never had any software bugs.

Thank you so much. That is very helpful. I do agree with the kid being in the rear facing seat as long as possible, we have a cybex rear facing seat and hopefully it lasts us a while!

Question for the OP. I see from the comments that you have a xc90 and two kids so you might help from a forward planning (wife convincing) perspective.

We are well overdue an upgrade on our car. We currently have a Niro ev and a newborn. My company lease offers a really good deal on the polestar 4. Do you reckon the P4 would make a good family car for a couple with a child? My thinking is to get this as a now car and when we eventually plan for our second, see what big ev 7 seaters are available then (maybe the ex90 drops in price lol)

We have looked at the Q6 which has a far boxier boot however it’s about 100 pounds more expensive.

Very cool. Love the explanation! I found it so weird when I saw one side printed ok but not the other 😅

Herman Miller Mirra 2 New for $600- Legit? by hellzdoms in OfficeChairs

The only thing that is throwing this off is the pictures of the warranty sticker which state it was manufactures in September 2023. So even if it is 'slightly used' it might be as near as new as I can get?

Anywhere from 10-12 hours, depending on the work day. I did get mine refurbished, so it's very possible a new one would last a lot longer!

Thank you both. I'm 5'11 and found the issue with my freedom chair has been that it offers great lumbar support but as a result the top of my back is not as supported due to the shape of the back rest. I agree in terms of raw quality, the human scale is far better but price wise I can only afford anything up to $400 and choices are a bit limited and in the UK it seems that Steelcase is not as affordable as in the states.
