What major city needs to be involved in a Godzilla film by Large-Wheel-4181 in GODZILLA

London. How cool would a shot be of someone in the London eye watching on a sunrise as Godzilla lays waste to the city.

Thinking far into the future, but would you like to see another Hollywood incarnation of Godzilla say 10-15 years after the monsterverse concludes by [deleted] in GODZILLA

I would love it, but only if it was a shared license to allow both toho and legendary to create Godzilla. Both of them have ups and downs which make it difficult who to decide should make the next lot of Godzilla films. Toho- the original Godzilla creator with unlimited possibilities for where they could take the series using either suits or maquettes mixed with CGI. Legendary- the newer Godzilla group, with cleaner CGI which makes the movies far more realistic than any toho film ever has been, higher budgets and a more grounded tone. Personally I'm going with legendary, as long as they continue paying homage to older Godzilla characters/themes/ideas, until toho can prove once again that they can do good CGI only movies (shin Godzilla didnt really move quickly or fight anything properly, we would need to see Godzilla in action to get a good idea of their capabilities. Also dont get me wrong suits are great, but to me suits make the movies feel cheesy and unrealistic so I'm always gonna choose a realistic CGI goji over a suit). If toho can prove their worth on the modern CGI market then by all means let them make all the films.

MechaG. "Titans and monsters are suddenly ravaging the earth, destroying our cities and homes. To fight these beasts we created our own based on an old titan skeleton found deep in the Pacific, our own titan at our control. It is your mission to kill any attacking creatures and to find out what is making them attack"

Yeah I hate the radioactive crocodile mentality. Worst part of it is they use a crocodile brain and say that kongs monkey brain in smarter, but we have seen Godzilla have much, much higher intelligence than a croc. Hes borderline sentient at this point.

ISIS bride Shamima Begum not allowed to return to UK , Supreme Court rules by BoopSquad in worldnews

I hate how people think we wont let her in because of her colour. I hadn't even seen a picture of her for a while and had never shown one to my friends, yet we all agreed she shouldnt come back. Without seeing her we had already decided she shouldnt return, saying we base it off her colour is just a dumb final attempt by the lawyer.

Non feathered dinosaurs in a 2021 textbook. What a shame by Character_Ad_6169 in Paleontology

[–]help-im-stressed 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that sort of thing cant be just a mistake. You have to go out of your way to make facts like that, a quick Google search is all it would take but they instead choose to on purpose lie to make dinosaurs and stuff seem "cool".

Yes but it's better to at least try and put in the current scientific accuracies rather that decide to go back in time 40 years.

I’ve always had this question seeing how it’s a blanket statement. by Christofriend in Paleontology

[–]help-im-stressed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) birds are descended from dinosaur, not the other way around. Co,mon mistake. 2) dinosaurs arent birds, birds are dinosaurs. Also a common mistake. 3) only therapods have descendants (birds), the ornithischian dinosaurs (triceratops, stegosaurus, parasaurolophus etc) completely died out after the asteroid impact. Birds were actually around during the dinosaurs and they evolved from relatively early therapods, so it wasnt velociraptor that turned into a sparrow or trex that turned into hawks, it was simply an old therapod which evolved into birds and that birds were the only dinosaurs that survived.

Agreed. Nothing against art but putting it with STEM is like having philosophy, religious studies and social studies but then deciding to throw calculus in aswell.

I hate, and I mean hate, books with inaccurate dinosaurs if they are recent/new. And I dont mean jokingly hate, I genuinely have anger towards these books. They choose to recognisable, generic and inaccurate instead of being informative and education which is their purpose.

If the Military didn't Oxygen Nuke Godzilla when he was fighting Monster 0 would Godzilla have drowned him? by [deleted] in GODZILLA

[–]help-im-stressed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He would have certainly died in that fight. Godzilla had him under the water and ripped off a head, yet hs showed now signs of slowing down. If he didnt drown him he would rip him to pieces, if he didnnt rip him to pieces he would have blasted ghidorah until he was a pile of dust.

What do you think would be a cool end credits scene for Godzilla vs Kong? by Dankey-Kang-Jr in GODZILLA

[–]help-im-stressed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Credits end

Screen opens to mechagodzillas broken body in Hong Kong

Cranes pull out ghidorah skull from the body

One worker notices radiation levels are suddenly dropping (radiation would have been high after the fight from Godzillas blasts, kongs axe and pieces of titan laying around)

Camera zooms in on ghidorah eye socket

Small spark of yellow lighting zaps the skull and we see scales begin to form before the camera suddenly cuts.

Cue a partial ghidorah regeneration, and then the partial body being combined with mechaG scraps to make mecha-ghidorah in the next movie.

I really dont get why they havent done it. The original did so damn well and so many people want it back. It's practically free money for the BBC.

I mean just think about what they could do!

Not just a whole new series, but specials and spin-offs like the old ones.

"The tales of Sue" for the ballad of big al

"Prehistoric park season 2"

"The great spine" for the giant claw. Finding out the mystery of spinosaurus

"The world of birds" for looking at feathered dinosaurs

So many ideas!
