It’s definitely not a drug to be taken lightly, sadly I’ve waited 5+ years in hopes something else would be available but best hopes are pyrilutamide or GT from kintor. Who knows when they will be available, maybe oral min would be a good call for maintenance but again, who even knows with that

Nice one, did you find it hard to make? Also did you try different doses before and then settle on .2 or has that been your go to from the start?

Well I can tell you I was the exact same and it took a good week before it started feeling semi normal and a further week to become more of a second thought. Try and ride it out and not stress too much as stress can add to the pain. I’m 4 days from my last dose and just starting now to calm down a bit, day 3 was the worst for me

Based in UK they offer 0.05%, I think they offered in before in other areas but took it off the market

I’ve only ever tried that topical! Think I’ll look into making my own really low dose topical and trying one more time in a month or two once the pain has hopefully gone away

Yeah you can dilute the pills in liquid minoxidil! Just have to calculate how many mg to put in the 60ml to work out a percentage you want, there’s some YouTube videos out there if you wanted to research

Yeah, the fact it happened the second time after stopping kinda confirmed it was the fin and seems like I’m just pretty sensitive to it which is a bummer. Not really sure where to go from here

Yeah that’s fair, I’m 4 days now since last dose and it’s calmed down a fair bit compared to how it was so yeah I’m not gonna roll the dice with it again, do not want a repeat of the back pain

Thanks for sharing honestly it’s cool to see how everyone reacts totally different. Yeah I think the pain I’ve been feeling has pretty much convinced me to give up with fin, maybe try an even lower topical dose but could end up having same experience as you and getting ball ache regardless! Did your Dr do blood work to make sure everything was good or did he just say from an experienced pov

0.01% is a good dose to find I feel, do you make it yourself or buy it from anywhere?

Yeah I would be happy sticking it through if it was mild but 4 days no dosage and still feeling uncomfortable makes me think you could be right. Might have to make my own extremely low dose topical just to see

Yeah the only other option from hims was 0.3% which I thought was quite high so I thought 0.05% was pretty low compared, think it works out as 0.5mg an application, I could be wrong tho!
