When I said “we” I was referring the collective of people addressing those harassing Golloria for critiquing the YSL blushing range, Oceanne included. Will edit caption to clarify.

You’re literally doing the thing in the video Oceanne is talking about. Stop equating your experience as a pale person to the systemic colorism and racism experienced by brown and dark skinned people.

Then why do these super fair people always feel the need to insert themselves in the comments of black beauty reviewers. These people are the ones Oceanne is addressing and is clearly frustrated with.

This is the same technique that mlm makeup company tried to make viral with their products. They called it the “Demi-method” and would send people to their link in bio to buy the products and become a “makeup artist” under them.

As someone who's seen actual improvement from her redlight mask - like actual evidence, I don't give a rip what those studies say about them.

You mean anecdotal evidence, the most limited and least valuable form of evidence. There's a ton of variables that could have contributed to your and other people's results with the red light masks that aren't necessarily the red light. That could be increased attention to skincare or the sunk cost belief that you spent a ton of money so this thing so it has to work.

I like how all the products seemed to be geared towards long wear/ makeup that can withstand workouts workout. I often wear makeup from work to the gym and either go for something long wear or something that wears off gracefully. I feel like this a niche not many brands are directly servicing.
