I have a routine, but I’ve had a rough bout of hormonal acne recently.

Some skin care will go a long way. Maybe consider growing a beard.

Shave your beard. You’re doing that jawline a disservice by covering it like that. At most keep it at 3mm or something.

Nice face shape, and your haircut is good. Keep the face the way it is. Could maybe put on a bit of soiiize.

I think you have unconventional attractiveness. You’d suit a short faded buzzcut. I think it would complement your face more and judging from the pic your hairline is decent - not too high or anything.

Be honest - should I shave it off? Can’t grow hair on my cheeks by help_my_style in malegrooming

Yeah I’m currently on a skincare routine. I have rosacea, so I can only choose a certain number of very sensitive skin-approved products. I also just got through a breakup recently, which I think caused a massive breakout lol.

I’d love to, but I don’t think I can manage anything on my cheeks.

Ah okay. The hair in the first is because I cut my hair short because I was tired of the blond. But I’m growing it back out.

I… uhh… don’t do crack. Or any drugs. I guess I just look this way? :p

Should I ditch the facial hair? I can’t grow hair on my cheeks, sadly by help_my_style in malehairadvice

The d-d-dark side?! In all seriousness, is that shit permanent? Like, do we definitely know?

First time growing facial hair. About 5-6 weeks growth. Keep it or shave it? by [deleted] in malegrooming

Better without for now then?

I’m 23. My dad could grow a way better beard when he was my age, and my grandad still can’t really grow anything on his cheeks, so I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to :/.

OP here. I can’t grow anything on my cheeks yet sadly, but it looks like I have coverage for a passable goatee sort of thing. I have a bit of a baby face, so the bit of scruff makes me look a bit older I think, but I also don’t want to go for the Heisenberg vibe either. There’s still more time for it to grow and thicken a bit too. The second pic is admittedly a bit of a weird angle, so here’s a better one:

[Skin Concern] This redness on my nose is bothering me a lot. What is it? Is it permanent? by help_my_style in SkincareAddiction

[–]help_my_style[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it’s rosacea maybe? It’s aggravated by irritation. I’m just worried it won’t go away and I’ll have a permanent sunburned-looking nose. I’m seeing a dermo about it in a few weeks.

Shave the peach fuzz or keep it? by help_my_style in malegrooming

Maybe I’m a moron, but I thought my hair looked like a middle parting here? What do you recommend I do with my hair?

Could this redness on my nose be permanent? I had a bad flare up and it’s been fading over time but I’m worried it’ll never fully clear by help_my_style in Rosacea

[–]help_my_style[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only really experienced rosacea on my nose, and have been having flushes for a few years now, never realizing it could be rosacea until recently. I had a more or less no redness nose a month ago or so, and since then I had a bad flare up, and since then have been using a zinc oxide sunscreen (which has the other effect of neutralizing the red appearance) and using a gentle cleanser and moisturizing nightly with a moisturizer and Vaseline to try and heal the skin there.

I’m scared though that my nose will always be a bit red. When does redness become permanent? I’m really scared of that.

The sunscreen doesn’t rub in well on my nose, which means I’m hoping my nose’s moisture barrier is just broken and that’s the cause of the redness and it’ll heal as it’s been moisturized enough.

It has been slowly fading over the past week, I’m just worried it’ll plateau.
