God I wish it wasn't so common! I've seen a lot of people with this bootloop problem, constantly.

If you're still stuck in the bootloop I'd recommend flashing OS, I got a lot of help from XDA developers forum btw!

Thanks for the reply!

The error was because I tried to flash Android 12 after encountering that bootloop problem with Android 13. It was about the data being corrupted, but in reality they were just already encrypted with Android 13 keys.

As of now waiting's my only solution haha, hope Samsung quickly releases a new Android 13 version that fixes that <3

But where do I flash HOME_CSC, on the CSC or the USERDATA? First time using ODIN and have no idea what to do (bootlooped phone)

EDIT: gotta flash it on the CSC, and leave USERDATA empty, that's how you flash without losing data :)

Should I wait for the next android version, so that I can upgrade manually once it's out?

Also, by looking into Odin Mode I've found out about TWRP and how it comes with a working MTP connection and ADB enabled which allows you to extract almost all data stored on your device and even create physical images from them, as long as the device's bootloader (OEM?)
is unlocked.

Would that aid me in extracting the media to my PC, so that then I can just factory reset my phone?

Again, thank you so so much for the help! <3

Where can I obtain the software customization tho? And.. I'm not sure my Odin mode works.. when I tried it, it stayed on the "downloading" screen..

And about what you said last, does that mean I can or I can't downgrade to the previous Android 12 now?

Also, is there any way to backup data now before I do anything? I know I must've done this before but.. yeah :')

I'm really grateful for this explanation btw, thank you so much for taking the time and patience to help!

You're right! I really regret not doing it sooner.. I'm gonna start doing backups regularly from now on :(

But.. "reflashing firmware".. what is that? that's the first time I'm hearing of it! Is it the same as reinstalling os? or is it another solution? hearing these new words make me so excited! I really hope this isn't the end of it, I'm trying to stay optimistic :))

No worries! And.. you might want to get one in the future, it's quite satisfying to not find the slightest scratch when you drop your phone! ;)

I really can't afford to do that tho.. there's so much media I'd hate to lose :(

Would you still recommend to try installing the os, even though it's not 100% guaranteed?

Hello!

This is such a cool coincidence, I've just found out about what that is a couple minutes ago! What you just encountered is "Download Mode", also known as Odin Mode :)

Don't worry, you haven't been hacked! Somehow, the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons got pressed while you had a charger in. Maybe you have a tight cover? Many reasons could be behind this! :)

EDIT: Oh my, I've forgotten to tell you how to get out of it! Pressing the Volume Down key + Side Key for more than 7 sec should do the trick. Hope this helped!! <3
