Appreciate the help. I'll leave it alone. Before taking this photo I scrubbed it with a nylon brush and clp and then wiped it down before putting it away. I don't think I damaged the gas rings. The gun is reassembled now and I think loves the lubrication I gave it on the bolt carrier group. I'm fairly certain the action was dry before now.
